This isn't a turtle conservation sanctuary. There are a few little turtles in some concrete tanks, and then you get showed around a weird collection of animals that will be eaten. And then there is a small pen with fully grown turtles (that people ride) and some reef sharks. They told us that they're not going to release the turtles... More

We had a great time swimming with turtles and reef sharks and then being able to swim and snorkle on the beautiful beach on the other side of the hotel. I agree with previous reviews on the poor condition other animals were kept in though. I was a bit worried as the hotel is a fair way out of town... More

So after seeing turtle sanctuaries & breeding programs in Samoa, we pulled in here. We paid 1800VT to enter each & my husband & I paid 2200VT each on top per person to swim with turtles & reef sharks. After a hot walk through baby turtle tanks, flying foxes, green iguanas & pigs we reached a smallish pool with 4... More

We visited in Dec 2013 on advice of our bus driver, the 1800 vat per adult is overpriced for what you get turtle breeding facility is tiny the rest of the tour is average. The guide was friendly and took us to see the larger turtles of which we were able to feed the tour was over within 1/2 hr.... More

My family and I were so looking forward to seeing a turtle conservation area and swim with these magnificent creatures, but it was a disappointing experience. We paid 1500 vatu each to get in, so over $100 for our family to be given a tour where the tour guide pointed and said 'turtles' and couldn't, or didn't want to, answer... More

When we arrived there, our driver told us to say we were there for lunch, which we went & ordered on arrival, (reasonably priced average food), then we didn't have to pay the entrance fee of 1800 vatu per adult. You can swim with giant turtles & reef sharks at a reasonable price, they are in a smallish enclosed area.... More

We went to the crystal blue lagoon on a day trip around the island to go swimming with the turtles. It was very expensive to get in, we also hired overpriced snorkels (which were filthy, containing mould so were not used). We were given a guide who tool us around the wildlife 'reserve' of sorts. She was on her phone... More

Crystal Blue Lagoon is about 40-minutes drive from Port Vila along some rough unsealed roads. It is worth a visit if you are holidaying in Vila, but if you are only there for one day on a cruise, there are better attractions closer to Vila. Crystal Blue Lagoon is a marine conservation area that collects turtle hatchlings and raises them... More

1800 Vt to get in, and see turtles locked in tiny concrete enclosures is a disgrace. If Vanuatu wants to obtain a share of first world visitors, this place should be improved to display these creatures in a sensitive environment. There are some larger turtles held in a small pen along with some sharks. If this would have happened in... More

We visited recently with out toddler as part of a trip around the island with a driver. We stopped here at his suggestion. We did want to expose our child to turtles but in a sensitive manner and a breeding program. Firstly it was expensive to get in @1200 Vatu each with our toddler being free. We were assigned a...
