I would highly recommend staying at Waves on Bukura. We only had one night here this trip, however would definitely book here again. We stayed in the basic bungalow in the garden which was ideal for us and very good value.., clean, peaceful and with a comfortable bed. John was a very pleasant host, he met us at the airport... We have stayed with John & Jeanette for 7 days. Our family enjoyed breakfast, swimming in the pool, fabulous dinners, laundry attended too, transport (20kms from Port Vila),and much more. The lifestyle is truly paradise. Our rooms were clean, tidy with full cooking facilities, fans and even a spa bath. I consider our choice of accommodation was 'spot on'.

Right from the start John and Jeanette made us feel at home. The rooms are an extension of their home but you can be as private as you like as the rooms all have separate entrances and self catering facilities are available. But John loves his cooking and at 2000 vatu for a massive, home cooked two course meal you... More

We stayed at this B&B for five days and it's a perfect place to relax. The owners, John and Jeanette, are friendly and helpful hosts. To avoid repeating all the other reviews I will just summarize the stay as superb and excellent value for the money. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Efate! Ps. The hosts... More

We are a half French and half English family and came to waves on Bukura in October and we just loved it! Jean and Jeanette were ever so kind, helpfull and welcoming. They did all they could to make our stay easy and injoyable. We ate with them every evening and had some beautiful meals with delicious deserts. The breakfasts... More

We had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at waves on bukura over the new year. Where do I start. It's was a beautiful and was hard leaving. Accommodation was close to cascade falls, hideaway island , the summit and far enough out of port villa to have a very relaxing break. John and Jeanette where both wonderful. They helped... More

We spent one night at Waves on Bukura, following 8 nights in an excellent resort, before flying home at the end of our holiday. John and Jeanette, who are running this small B&B/beach resort as a retirement project, were delightful hosts. Our unit was clean, comfy and charming, with facilities that would make it suited for an extended, self-catering stay.... More

We had 7 wonderful nights at waves on bukura. Very laid-back with an amazing breakfast every morning and great meals at night. John and Jeanette are so helpful and dropped us off whenever we required a lift and were a wealth of local knowledge. If your looking for somewhere out of the hustle and bustle of port Vila at a... We had a fantastic holiday at Waves. We hadn't ever stayed at a B&B style resort before but were pleasantly surprised at the kindness of the hosts and the service we received. We stayed in the Turtle Bungalow which was spacious and included a kitchen were we could prepare and cook our own meals. We also used the BBQ down... More

The property is situated on a tranquil beach near Mele. We stayed in the Seahorse shack and this was spacious and well equipped. John and Jeanette, the lovely hosts, couldn't have been more helpful. They kindly drove us to nearby Mele and cooked us an amazing dinner! On the morning of our departure we needed to leave by 5am to... More
