Have stayed at the Waterfront a couple of times when in Tonga and never been disappointed. The rooms are very well appointed and the shower is great (something you really appreciate in Tonga). Added to this is one of the best restaurants on the island is downstairs for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Lovely hotel with everything you need and the bonus of a wonderful restaurant downstairs. Large rooms, tasteful decor, comfy bed. Loved the oversized shower - could fit a whole family in there! All very clean. Housekeeping staff take their job seriously! Staff were friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast was ample and the verandah where this was served was... More

We stayed one night on our way to Atata island. From the first enquiry the contact was fast and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Room is beautiful and the continental breakfast was impressive (can't imagine how big the cooked is!). The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help. If you are looking for something central... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Lodge. Very good welcome by all of the staff and the room was very comfortable and spacious. With the added bonus of the outside balcony we were able to chill out and relax. The food was always excellent with plenty of choice from a very varied menu. We stayed for five nights... More

This lovely boutique guesthouse could not have been a better choice for us returning to Tonga on a 'trip down memory lane' after living here 38yrs ago. Welcoming, spotlessly clean, affordable, spacious rooms, excellent food in restaurant, professional & attentive staff, ideal location - everything we needed and/or wanted. Stayed initially 2 nights, returning after 2 nights on FaFa Island... More

My room was spacious, pleasantly furnished and had a nice view over the harbour. There was a nice terrace for evening drinks. The restaurant service was fine and the food and wine very enjoyable. The staff at reception were always very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately what would have been a most enjoyable stayat the Waterfront was marred by two scarves, presents... More

When the taxi delivered me to the hotel, I was shocked. The two-storeyed building, looks, as a shed. It is located opposite to the market. The personnel on a reception was friendly, our suitcases were delivered to the room on the 2nd floor. The room and the equipment correspond 4 stars to hotel. Everything is in working state. There is... More

The Waterfront Lodge is in a great location right on the harbour. It has an old colonial feeling & there is a safe, fridge & TV. The décor is lovely & we really enjoyed our waterfront room.
