We stayed at the Olini Lodge with Saia and his daughter Olini for two nights. Saia was incredibly welcoming, and even waited around the airport for two hours to pick us up after our flight was delayed! We explored the island with Saia's "Lost in Tonga" tour and had a great experience. You really feel like you have made an... More

My mum and I started and ended our adventure inTonga at Olini Lodge. We were greeted by the wonderful Saia, who immediately put us at ease with his relaxed and humourous persona from the get go. The lodge is comfortable and feels like a home and is taken care of by the sweet Olini, Saia's duaghter. The breakfasts were lovely... More

We chose to stay at Olini at the recommendation of a friend, and from the minute we were collected at the airport Saia took us under his wing as if we were family. From taking us to get the best fish in town, to running us around and even sharing his own meals with us, we couldn't have hoped for... More

A wonderful welcome on our first trip to Tonga. Saia was a marvelous host and tour guide for our short stay. We enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast. Would be delighted to stay again. Moira and Phil

I have been travelling on a regular basis to Tonga and lived at most accommodation in Tonga but since finding Olinis lodge about four years ago, i havent thought about any place else. Rooms upstairs are very secure and come with a working a/c. The lodge has a very clean and open homely feel to it. The kitchen usually has... More

Olini Lodge is a great choice when staying in Tonga. We stayed for five nights and chose Olini on the strength of the reviews largely praising Saia and were not at all disappointed. It would be hard to find a more accommodating or easygoing host and there's a reason why all the reviewers are so enamoured of him. The price... More

The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Saia made us feel at home with his smiling and charming hospitality and we extremely enjoyed staying here. Ensure you don't miss breakfast here. With no doubt, will stay at 'Olini again when visiting home again.

We felt extremely comfortable and thoroughly welcomed for the 24 hours we spent at Olini Lodge. It's a guest house, or B&B, with large comfortable clean rooms, plenty of space for children and an especially charming, generous and urbane host in Saia. The style of accommodation is best described as like living in someone else's home with them, as that... More

The room was clean and comfortable, the view was great, breakfast was enjoyable, overall a relaxing experience. However, the best thing about Olini Lodge is the host. Saia is very passionate about sharing Tonga with travelers and he made me feel welcome, even sharing his "secret" island spots. He's more than a host - he's a friend - and I... More

It was a wonderful experience. Truth compels me to say that I was disappointed the house was so far from accessible water, BUT Saia was VERY good and willing to bring us or point out where I at least could get my fill of swimming. He has shared his knowledge, love and time to show us around, and made everyone... More
