We stayed here for a week. The were full out doing renovations all the time, with concrete drills, jackhammers, breaking down walls constantly going on everywhere in the hotel. They had the audacity of charging full price as well all the time. With only a letter, stating "sorry for the inconvenience" The staff are very friendly, but, the food is... More

Stayed at the Palau Royal Resort in February of 2015, in fairness a list of Pro's: Nice room, friendly Staff, Private Beach/Cove, decent snorkeling in the cove (way to test equipment and get comfortable), Guest paid laundry room, Now about our experience: we arrived quite late and opted to sleep in, we had noticed in the guest book that the... This is a beautiful resort hotel with an excellent staff. The rooms, especially on the east-facing water side (above the Waves Restaurant), were very nice. [NOTE: as of March 2015, another hotel is being constructed next door, beside the small harbor that the lobby faces, and friends said the noise was bothersome.] The bathroom has good room for items on... We had a large group who stayed here March/April 2015. The checkin/checkout process was smooth and the staff were friendly. Incidental charges were accurate and the rooms were maintained well during our stay. When we called for extra towels, etc., room service was prompt. The self-service laundry facilities were clean and nice ($2 USD to wash, $2 $USD to dry... More

We paid to use the pool and beach for our last day in Koror as all of the guided trips we wanted were booked. Not only did we save a ton of money but we had a lot of fun. A luxurious setting and friendly staff definitely helped.

Palau Royal Resort is more a 2-star boot-camp than anything else. The pick-up from the airport took a while and the driver was not friendly and laid back behind the wheel, so my legs were pretty squeezed. Upon arrival, around 20:00 the receptionist checked our stay 3 nights and told us that we had received 2 (small) bottles of drinking... More

The hotel is quite clean and generally the service is quite good, however the staff at the Breeze Bar were bad. Failed to serve on a number of occasions as they were more concerned about watching TV or talking to friends. Then when you forced them to recognise you, they would serve one drink then ignore you. Rooms were very... More

1st trip to the island, spent 3 nights at the Palau Royal resort, unfortunately it was a business trip. Staff was welcoming and helpful, the resort itself is very nice and the surrounding views are gorgeous. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the downside is there is no hotel wifi in the rooms, you have to purchase a separate local... More

Belonging to the NIKKO group, this hotel is a 4-star resort with a big garden area, outdoor pool area and own little sandy beach with some sunbeds. Most of the guests are Asian, non-divers and the hotel activities are designed for those guests. Located just 2 minutes on foot away from Sam´s Tours it makes a good choice for divers... More

I stay at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was generally clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was 3 to 4 stars. It's not all out service to pamper you but it's solid and there isn't much to complain about. The wifi, as others have said, is quite painfully slow. This is not the hotel's... More
