I had booked this hotel based on the reviews as they seemed favorable and the pictures showed a little character, but I ended up checking out the next morning. We were in one of the rooms for $180, so I new this was the "bargain" room if you will. It is around 11 at night when we arrived. The first... More

I stay in Palay plantation hotel on this April. The room is normal, but the staff is very good. The shuttle bus runs every day which is very convenient for us to downtown. The breakfast is almost unlimited in all kind of food, delicious and fresh. I'll recomend you stay in this Hotel in Palau.

If like me you were expecting a beachside resort you may be disappointed as this is more set back in a tropical environment with no view per se. However there didn't seem to be any nice beaches in Koror that we could find and this resort more than makes up for it. The staff were super helpful, the location is... More

Location good for visits to Koror. Just 15 min. Walk. Booked standard room with a view. Small room with a tiny balcony, but view of the bay quite nice. Good choice for breakfast: European and Asian, coffee was really very good! Restaurant by the pool also great for dinner at reasonable costs. The Aquarium is worth a visit, not too... More

First let me say - I know this is an isolated spot and do NOT expect US level of service. We are experienced world wide travelers - and completely understand that one's expectations need to be reasonable. But this resort was really a disappointment. While the rooms were pretty, wooden, with high ceilings and a pretty jungle view - you... More

We stayed at the Ngellil Nature Island resort, a branch of the Palau Plantation resort a short 15 minute speedboat ride from Koror and it was one of the very best travel experience our family has ever had (and we have travelled the world several times over at this point). The Ngellil Island facilities are more of a small eco... More

Stayed here for 10 nights. We arrived with high expectations after reading some very positive reviews on tripadviser. Unfortunately the resort didn't live up to our expectations. I will start with the good points. The staff are are excellent. The resort is in a quiet and peaceful location but is only a short walk to town there is also a... More

My fiance and I stayed there for 2 nights in December. It would have been more if they had had any vacancies! The only room available was one of the windowless cabins - we were hoping for one of the balcony ones but this ended up being great anyways. Prices were reasonable. Staff really went above and beyond - even... More

We brought in 11 people prior to going on the Tropic Dancer liveaboard dive boat and the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and efficient, the rooms allowed us to get in the Palau island spirit immediately and the three restaurants were good. We dove with Neco Marine for day boats and they were great, prompt and good.... More

In view of less than a handful good lodging options, this is definetly the best place to stay on that simply unbelievable Western Caroline Island. Just minutes from Koror’s not so appealing principal road, Plantation Resort is like an entrance to a tropical forest. Unfortunately on balance so expensive as the impersonal Pacific Resort, the Plantation is much more authentic... More
