My husband and I stayed 4 nights in Le Meridien and we were so happy about our choice of hotel. The front staff were all very helpful and friendly. The classic room is well-equipped and pretty clean. Easy access to the beach and very beautiful tropical garden and swimming pool. We would definitely go back to Le Meridien next time... more

From the rusty door, mould in all three bathrooms of our over-priced 2 bedroom suite, broken DVD player, broken hairdryer, leaky airconditioning unit in main bar area, barren buffet after 7.45am at breakfast (due to one person on the floor), a joke of a gym with 3 machines, no kids club, NZD$45 per hour per child babysitting fee to the... more

I stayed for 3 days in a superior room (upgraded using SPG points). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Noumea. It's the only hotel in the area that truly has its own beach with most water sports / gear included (and an amazing swimming pool too!) The rooms are a little dated, but... more

I stayed four nights in late November 2009. I read nearly every website and review about all the hotels in Noumea and chose Le Meridien, with what I had read in mind. The Starwood Hotels website had fantastic specials on and it was actually cheaper than places like Le Surf, which was a dive. Some hotels I contacted did not... more

My family and I went to Noumea for a short week of relax. We chose Le Meridien at Noumea since we had already stayed in the chain in the South Pacific on different occasions and have a great experience. We arrive at the hotel late night on Monday and after a 3 hrs. flight went to sleep. Next day we... more

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights from end December 2008 to early January 2009. After 4 great days on the Maré island, we moved to Noumea. We chose the so-called best place to stay in the city and wanted to try it despite numerous negative rewievs from travellers... Due to the high price we paid for the room... more

My mum and I stayed at this hotel on a mother-daughter trip for four nights in October 2008. We both agreed that this was just the right number of nights to stay in Noumea without getting bored. I agree with many other reviewers that this hotel needs an update and is more a 3-4 star hotel than a 5 star.... more

I stayed in the Meridien Noumea for 7 nights for a business trip in a normal room. One thing is for sure, service was not invented in New Caledonia! And of course this is also reflected at the hotel. People are in general at bit indifferent and have no interest in making it 'better', they like it the way it... more
