We stayed at the Chateau Royal for 4 nights and I would rate the overall experience pretty good. Probably the best choice available in Noumea at the time we travelled as the neighboring Le Meridien Hotel was undergoing refurbishment. If I were to visit Noumea again I might choose the refurbished Le Meridien which looked like a true 5-star experience... More

The spa is a large pool of warm but not tepid, water with dozens of places to stand, sit or lie to be massaged with jets of water and/or bubbles. It is a unique experience in a very clean and modern facility with a beautiful view. Extremely relaxing and enjoyable. Well worth the money.

My wife and I chose a 10 day stay at Chateau Royal for some R&R. Whilst the weather was in the low 20's we were able to sit by the pool and chill out. The hotel offers great rooms - apartments in fact that are very well appointed and comfortable with large bedroom, Bathroom with shower (and her we do... More

This was a relaxing holiday to be sure. There is a great choice of restaurants, the pool is mesmerising that looks onto the beach and the piña coladas are pretty special. Small things were odd. The breakfast buffet was well attended and with no one to check at the counter and tick off rooms - so I a curious if... More

Very clean, spacious room with functional kitchen (although only one utensil supplied- a wooden spoon), big shower and good lounge area. Go for a superior suite as they face the waterfront. Bars & restaurants good, breakfast buffet very good but don't leave your food unattended or the sparrows will be into it as the room is open on two sides.... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Beautiful complex with contemporary look and luxury feel from the moment you walk in on the polished white marble floors. Our room was huge and had a separate bedroom, lounge and a full kitchen with full size fridge. As others have noted our only complaint are the hard high pillows! Everything is clean and modern.... This is a beautiful complex. The rooms are modern and spacious. The 2 bedroom suite we stayed in had 2 bathrooms. and a kitchen and lounge area between the two bedrooms. We had a gorgeous ocean view. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurants (3 of them), though expensive had quality food and service. The buffet breakfast is... More

We stayed for five nights and returned for another three following an interval at the Iles des Pines. For both stays we found our rooms shiny, newish and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors to a long balcony off every room. Delightful views across the beach and gardens toward Anse Vata. The children enjoyed the pool... More

Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa was definitely right choice for our last six nights in Noumea. Comfortable and spacious one bedroom apartment was very clean and tastefully decorated. The satellite TV was OK, but in our room (218) there were only two English speaking channels, the other three didn’t work. Kitchen was well equipped and modern and Breakfast was... More

Wonderful place to spend time away from home NZ and catch some warm weather and a hotel on the beach. We walked our legs off too. Very comfortable bed. But would like more English TV channels. CNN gets boring after a week Great views of the beach. Would come back again Love it
