I stayed here for my first 3 nights in Noumea. The bungalows all have themed decors from different parts of the world. The price is very reasonable, the bungalows are roomy and comfortable, the bathrooms are very clean. The food is great and it is lovely to sit round the table at the end of each day with other guests... More

We stopped here for two nights, spending a day 'exploring' the area in our hired car and on foot. The accommodation is a 'Melanesian eclectic' theme! It is a group of bungalows situated close together with two shared shower/toilet bathrooms. There was a sink and basic kitchen with utensils in our bungalow - think 'super upmarket backpacker'. The bungalows are... More

Thank you for your comments. They are used to improve the quality of serice. You regret the meal without wine at the table. This is a choice of "Tour du Monde" The meal costs € 16.50. This is a very very low price in New Caledonia and includes a starter, main course, dessert. The food is local, simple and plentiful.... More

Jean Claude and Dan are superb hosts and Tour du Monde is a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. They made our trip to New Caledinia much more enjoyable, with tips and advice that only locals can share, and by welcoming us into their home. They were extremely helpful with all our requests, and patient with our poor attempts to speak... More

My wife and I spent 4+2 days with Jean Claude and Daniel and we found them to be excellent hosts. Dan's dinners were all interesting and a delight to the tastebuds. Jean Claude not only planned a tour for us but arranged all of the accommodation, including Isles des Pines. Tour du Monde is some distance from Noumea and you... More

A marvellous place to stay with a very special ambience. It was very hard to leave. Jean-Claude and Dan are super people, very hospitable. I can only agree with all the other positive comments written about Le Tour du Monde. As Michelin would say: 'vaut le voyage'. Of course, it's off the beaten track, but therein lies much of its... I used Tour du Monde for 3 things: lodging & meals when I arrived and before I departed NC, trip planning around Grand Terre, and rental of camping gear. On all 3 counts they were an excellent choice. The setting is lovely, and Dan's dinners outstanding. Jean-Claude speaks English and spent over an hour with me helping to plan my... More

We went to this establishment taking the view that if 75% of the information contained within the reviews was accurate, the place would be pretty good. In fact we found it to be just about close to 100%. Dan and Jean Claude know their stuff and have clearly given a lot of thought as to how the place should be... More

There are not too many B&B's on New Caledonia and the Tour de Monde stands out in many ways. Jean-Claude and Dan make you feel home and we recommend that you book the half-stay (with breakfast and dinner) for the food Dan prepares is very delicious. To get around it is suggested to rent a car, the B&B is just... More

Stayed in Tour du Monde for 2 nights last September with my gf. They just finished setting up 2 new bungalows (the hotel was moved to another location last year). Everything is spot clean and Dan and Jean-Claude are great hosts. Every night Dan cooks a great meal with local food and ingredients. Generally the place is run very well... More

I chose this accommodation as I am an experienced traveller and I preferred staying at a guest house rather than the high end, expensive hotels in Anse Vata. The booking process was clear and easy and Jean-Claud arranged transfers for me from the airport and back. Dan runs the place and keeps it super clean and very comfortable. Meals were... More
