The President Room exceeded all our needs to recoup from a long day's travel! Chris recommended a great place for dinner and even performed a homecoming grand piano concert in the evening. Bob got to sing along for a couple of numbers and the evening was complete with conversation. Breakfast was personalized for our diet and conversation with other guests... More

My best friend and I decided on a "haunted getaway" to celebrate 45 years of friendship and our 50th birthdays, and she suggested Atchison. I began researching B&Bs in the area and quickly decided Tuck U Inn at Glick Mansion was the best choice for us - and we were not disappointed!! From the moment we arrived, Chris and Loman's... This historic B & B is just blocks from the river front and from downtown Atchison, KS. We chose Lizzie's Attic, which sleeps six. It was simply decorated with a "Girls Just want to have fun" theme with 5 twin beds and one double bed. The mattresses were all soft and the one on the smallest twin was so thin... More

Loman and Chris are friendly hosts who--honestly--made two of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The Glick Mansion is a fascinating house and eminently comfortable. Loman is well-versed in the history of the home and of Atchinson. Atchinson itself was a surprise. My wife and I went there for an anniversary weekend. We toured the Earhart museum, Benedictine College... More

A beautiful place and experience. You won't go wrong staying here, but you may want to stay and stay and stay. If you want the comfort and warmth of a Norman Rockwell setting, this is it. The breakfasts are soooo good. Its just a few blocks from the Kansas river and Amelia Earhart's birthplace. Nice stole. Enjoy!

Staying at the Tuck U Inn (Glick Mansion) is like a trip back in time to a more gracious era. The owners, Chris and her husband Loman, obviously have a passion and gift for preserving Victorian beauty. Every inch of the mansion is decorated with the most fascinating and tasteful accoutrements. The elegance, combined with the owners' warmth and hospitality,... More

The Tuck U Inn bed and breakfast at the Glick mansion in Atchison, Kansas is a beautiful home full of period antiques. Looking for the Glick mansion, which is easy to find, you may find yourself distracted by the incredible number of beautiful Victorian era homes. It was incredible to me to see all of the beautiful homes. Certainly, even... More

This is by far the best bed and breakfast in which I have ever stayed. The home, formerly owned by Kansas' 9th Governor, is simply gorgeous. It's massive and old, but it's well-maintained and updated with all the modern comforts. We stayed in the Eisenhower room, which is the only guest room with a bathroom accessed through a public hallway.... More

Our kids treated us the The First Ladies room. We were greeted at he door and felt welcomed the whole time. Would love to go back when the trolley is running and see the town through the trolley tour.

My sister and I stayed here late October for one night. A little gem. Decorated to the nines for Halloween but they also have beautiful antiques. Tasty breakfast in the morning was included. The owners are charming. Much better than chain hotels in the area.
