Staying at the Tuck U Inn (Glick Mansion) is like a trip back in time to a more gracious era. The owners, Chris and her husband Loman, obviously have a passion and gift for preserving Victorian beauty. Every inch of the mansion is decorated with the most fascinating and tasteful accoutrements. The elegance, combined with the owners' warmth and hospitality,... More

The Tuck U Inn bed and breakfast at the Glick mansion in Atchison, Kansas is a beautiful home full of period antiques. Looking for the Glick mansion, which is easy to find, you may find yourself distracted by the incredible number of beautiful Victorian era homes. It was incredible to me to see all of the beautiful homes. Certainly, even... More

This is by far the best bed and breakfast in which I have ever stayed. The home, formerly owned by Kansas' 9th Governor, is simply gorgeous. It's massive and old, but it's well-maintained and updated with all the modern comforts. We stayed in the Eisenhower room, which is the only guest room with a bathroom accessed through a public hallway.... More

Our kids treated us the The First Ladies room. We were greeted at he door and felt welcomed the whole time. Would love to go back when the trolley is running and see the town through the trolley tour.

My sister and I stayed here late October for one night. A little gem. Decorated to the nines for Halloween but they also have beautiful antiques. Tasty breakfast in the morning was included. The owners are charming. Much better than chain hotels in the area.

Our two-day visit to Atchison was a beautiful surprise thanks to Chris & Lowman hosting us in their lavish historic bed and breakfast. From the moment we walked up the walk on the lovely garden path we felt welcomed into an opulent past. Beautiful antiques and appointments invite guests to relax in every room and corner. Loman serves Chris's delicious... More

We stay with Chris & Lowman every year for our annual shopping trip to Nell Hills and had another wonderful stay. My granddaughter was with us for the first time, and she didn't want to leave! It really is a home away home! The breakfast was delicious as always and Chris and Lowman go out of their way to make... More

My husband and I stayed at the Glick Mansion in August, 2014. It was a wonderful time, and a particularly memorable visit. We stayed in the Eisenhower Room, which was perfectly decorated and very comfortable. Innkeepers Chris and Loman made sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic. You can tell... More

We stayed at the Glick Mansion July 19 & 20, 2014. We can not say enough good about our stay. The husband & wife that own and run the Glick Mansion are the best customer friendly people we have ever met. They are up on the history of Atchison and all the ghost stories. When you check in they ask... More
