the service was very slow in the restaraunt and the front desk never returned my calls. changing to a different room never happened. the room was roomy but had a empty atmosphere. leaving the premises on foot would be dangerous because of the location. I liked the food but overall , it was overpriced for what you get or should... more
This Holiday Inn could use some renovating, but is a secure, comfortable place to stay while in Port Moresby. I was there for 2-3 weeks, and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the food very good especially with the new chef that took over during my visit (although it would be nice if they mixed it up a bit,... more
I got to go to PNG on work and had a college stay at the Crowne Plaza; we ended up spending most of our time at my hotel as it had better facilities and more space We will be staying at the holiday inn again in October well worth it even if it’s just for the security more
This is a secure, pleasant place to stay in Waigani (the government centre of Port Moresby and PNG). The staff are very courteous and friendly. The pool area and garden/stream are very relaxing. The bar staff were rude. They kept running out of Internet access cards. Security is good and the cleaning staff were friendly enough, although unreliable... more
This hotel has seen better days. The staff were fine, but fittings could do with renovation. The whole place (hotel and Port Moresby itself) has the look of decay about it. Not the best Holiday Inn worldwide! more
I was staying at the Holiday Inn for a couple of weeks and found that the staff were mostly friendly and helpful, especially in the Business Centre. But I found that to access the internet costs Kina1.00 per minute which is too expensive as the connection is very bad and I wasn't even able to reply a mail in 6... more
Central location in POM between the Airport and the CBD. Good Security, friendly staff. The entire place is a bit tired and could use some overhaul. The rooms int he tower are better than the flats. The resturant is the worst of all hotels in POM. more
I stayed her for 2 nights in June 2006. The rooms are quite large and comfortable, the only thing lacking is a safe in the room for paranoids like myself. Beds are quite small. Bathrooms are big and there are some good shampoos/bath gels, although the tub is uncomfortable. This hotel has (quite expensive) shops, an okay restaurant, business centre... more
