We arrived late at night into a rather sketchy neighborhood...however, the hotel was very quiet...next day we found a downtown hotel in the middle of the "action"....we walked over to the plazas, the cathedral...the room was large...the dining room good and needed since it was the weekend and most places were closed...

By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I made reservation to their best room but when I arrived they gave me their lower room quality. When I inquired about the type of room I got, they then switched me to the room I had booked. Make sure you do not lose any towels or they you charge... More

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel although the décor is a bit hit and miss...The lounge area has such a lot going on in its decor..nothing really matched ...while the diningroom adjacent was definitely decorated/never changed(?)in old world charm...in the room, pine beds, green painted walls, plastic flowers...Lovely rooftop pool which was a blessing as it was HOT!Staff spoke no... This hotel is situated right in the heart of historic Asuncion where grandiose Government palaces share space with Hoovervilles and Riverfront property! You get a touch of the old world here with a wonderful little restaurant that serves full breakfast, plus a rooftop pool which overlooks the entire city.. Cabs are easy to find, and the area is safe. I chose this hotel because it was ranked number 1 of Business Hotels on TripAdvisor. The hotel itself is nice with large, clean rooms & friendly helpful staff. Internet is a bit hit & miss and the breakfast is just OK(but them again, most of the food in Asunción is). It's location however is suited for tourism & business with... More

located in central Asuncion it is very clean and modern with a sort of kitch style (margaritas everywhere with an indian touch mixed together). Receptionist very kind. Good rooms and nice (even if small) restaurant for dinner

We spent about 8 nights there and the only downside was the tardiness of the Elevator. Meals were good, WI-FI excellent, Staff Dulce was excellent, Rooms were tidy and I would recommend this central place.

I was extemely happy with my stay at Las Margaritas, Front desk staff such as Angel, Lourdes and Dulce were fantastic. I had problem with airline losing my bags for several days and the front desk staff went out of their way to try to help me get the bags located. I loved the decorations and furniture in my Junior... the Las Margaritas is located directly across the street from the Granados Park, is equally "fancy", comfortable and there is a family ownership to both. Top notch, as is the Granados. The restaurant was a cut above. Nothing "special" about the menu selection, but...as with many of the nice Lat Am restaurants...consisted of meat: beef, lamb, pork, chicken and seafood...all... I stayed in this hotel for 3 days in March 2014. It is a good, clean hotel at the center of downtown and within walking distance of major tourist sites, shopping malls and outdoor craft shops. The standard room was small but nice, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The internet was intermittent but was okay for... More
