I stayed here on business last week for four nights. This hotel was exceptional. The staff are friendly especially the lady who cleaned our rooms who was trying her hardest to help me with my Spanish. The internet connection was fast, the rooms were large and very clean and I loved the hotel décor. The food in the restaurant was... More

Stayed at this property for 4 nights. Business trip to Asuncion. Hotel offers free breakfast and internet during stay. Great location for conducting business in the downtown area, and great hotel to stay in Asuncion. Friendly staff. Big (gigantic) rooms. Excellent food for breakfast and lunch (did not have dinner at the hotel). Will stay at this property every time... More

Stayed there on my flash trip to Paraguay for christmas shopping for the family. Liked the room and the breakfast is one of the best I've tried in Asuncion. The location is great too because its in the heart of the downtown shopping area

Situated in downtown Asuncion it is well located if your business endeavors include meetings with various Government Ministries and agencies. The hotel is old and it shows in decor and rooms. Food is average and would recommend only using the hotel for breakfasts as there are many good restaurants in the city. If you are looking for something truly 4... More

Stayed there several nights. Good place. Location is excellent, very close to Ministries and offices. Many restaurants around actually everything is 2-5 minutes walking distance from this hotel. The food selection for breakfast was not something impressive, but sufficient to get some portion of calories. The building is very ancient in a good condition, but nothing can hide the real... This hotel is a very good hotel in downtown Asuncion. The staff is very attentive. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I didn't experience the issues some other guests had. For me this is a very good hotel and I would certainly stay there again if I come to Asuncion.

It looks like this is an old, historical hotel at Asunción downtown. However it has been probable renewed not so long ago. Granados is, in my opinion, excessively decorated which might affect the most perfectionists. However rooms are huge, comfortable and quiet. Price is in accordance to what is offered.

I enjoyed a series of meetings over several days at this hotel. I had stayed there perhaps 12 years ago. This trip, I remembered how relaxed and convenient it is, and the rooms are VERY well appointed, comfortable and large. I enjoyed beverages in the lobby, interacted with the staff, and as mentioned, meetings in one of the very large... More

The rooms are tired, the carpets are musty, the lack of basic necessities like shower gel (you get a soap bar, smelling like old school laundry soap instead), the bouncy old spring mattresses, the disgustingly smelly closets (I couldn't bring myself to hang my clothes inside), the old windows letting street noise in, and the lazy, unhurried (however very friendly)...
