I always stay at Sleepin GT. I booked a year in advance but was given the poorest room on the first floor next to the receptionists. It was noisy all the time; lacked windows and privacy. Location of the hotel and services are always great.

This place is spotless and cleaned obsessively. We've stayed three times, for a total of three weeks. The staff is kind and consistent with Caribbean service standards -- efficient and friendly, but more gentle in approach than North American standards. Beautiful pool, extremely safe, great prices at the spa, and the bar/restaurant. It's true that there are karaoke nights that... More

Our stay was horrible we suffered from bug bites and roaches in our hotel and our beds had to be sprayed twice. Then we had to pay in American currency which was a very large sum because we stayed for three weeks. The workers were courteous and polite. The food was awesome which we enjoyed very much.

Had some reservations when this short notice booking was made for me as I did not have an opportunity to review beforehand. The reception was good as I refused the room that was reserved for a bigger room at another level. The rooms behind the receptionist are much quieter though some views are of derelict homes next door or a... More

Arriving in Guyana after 20yrs for the Tutorial Reunion and no family to stay with in Guyana I was told the place to stay was the Sleepin Hotel on Brickdam street. The Hotel in my opinion is ok for a first time visitor to Guyana to stay. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was made.bathroom is cleaned good... More

By guyanese standards, this was a pretty good hotel. The hotel staff was not the most friendly, but were helpful. The complimentary breakfast of local dishes was delicious every day. There was a very cheap spa on the premises which was cool. The rooms are small but come with a small balcony for outdoor meals and smoking. It's equipped with... More

I must say that this hotel was very nice for the value. I certainly cannot complain about anything. The breakfast was awesome, the staff were friendly, the rooms were furnished well with cable and a telephone and the restaurant menu was very well planned out due to the fact there was a vegetarian section. I will definitely recommend this hotel to... More

I have not been disappointed staying at Sleepin International. No frills but nice friendly local people. Food is good. Best rooms are in front of the pool and bar. Rooms in the back can get loud. Has everything you need are a great price. Been to several hotels in Georgetown but this one is the best for the price and... More

i as glad I decided to stay here instead of the trendy Pegasus or Princess Hotels with all the tourists. This was as splendid surprise. Local Spot, Friendly staff with a decent pool and restaurant on site. Rooms were ok..Bathroom was clean and water temperature on the cool side. Beds could be better. Great spot for a night or 2.

This is a loud, dirty, fantastic backpacker's hotel. If you can accept that, and not expect anything else, you can have a hell of a good time at Sleepin. My husband and I had a room on the first floor, behind the reception desk. The noise was so unbelievable we though we were sleeping IN the lobby. We made the... More
