I had to spend a week in Guyana and as I browsed their website it seemed like a nice place. Having a pool was a must so I choose them. The room was good and the staff friendly. We enjoyed the food at their restaurant! The only thing I did not like was the weak Wi-Fi signal and no elevator,... More

Since Guyana is considered a third world country, I wasn't expecting too much. Even though this hotel is not quite what I'm use to its still a good place to stay. Clean rooms, excellent staff, quick cab service right at the front door, good food, AC works, pool is nice. My issue with this place is the fact that its... More

A nice hotel with good facilities and friendly staff in the main. I have stayed in single rooms and double rooms and the double rooms were of a much higher standard. Clean, well arranged, good food and a clean atmosphere. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Whilst my experiences vary, there are a couple of consistent... More

My family and I spent 2 weeks in Guyana we first spent 3 days then went to another part of the country. When we came back we were told we have no room that we booked, I went off on the front desk staff because I have kids with me. We were then told too many stories why there was... More

We stayed in this hotel twice - first two nights end of June and one week later one night start of July 2015. Based on earlier reports and advices on avoiding the rooms inside of reception we got rooms on upper level on first stay, but had to stay inside of reception on last stay. The female receptionist claimed hotel... More

I have stayed in this hotel many times, usually in the 2 bedroom or 1 bedroom apartment and can recommend it highly. It's great value and breakfast is included which has gotten better over the years. Meals are also available and is absolutely delicious and portions are generous. We are in Guyana to work so this is more like home... More

My sister and I stayed here recently for 1 week. When we checked, we learned that we can pay for our entire stay at once or daily. Location: cannot complain, because we were pretty much downtown and was within walking distance of every and anything we needed. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and always helpful

My husband and I stayed here recently for 2 nights. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in a standard room with air, fridge, microwave and a balcony. When we checked into our room, the AC was not working. Right away they sent someone up to fix it. The room was pretty small, but... More

While there are a number of high end hotels in Georgetown, the Sleepin is well worth the money. The rooms are older, but a reasonable size and ours had a terrace. The hotel has a pool, and restaurant and the location is close to the downtown which makes it easy to walk around and see the sights. We stayed in... More
