The hotel and restaurant goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The wait staff does an excellent job taking your order, seeing that the food is prepared, and delivered to you table while hot.

Staff don't know what they are doing. Pool is dirty. Rooms have roaches and ants, ac keep cutting off during the night. can't find a bellman or Manager. Front desk crew are clueless and simply dumb and stupid. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Don't waste your money with this crappy hotel, go to Pegasus instead,... More

The poolside is a nice hang out spot for drinks and appetizers. The pool is fairly large, but closes at 6 PM. The service and food was pretty good. Our waiter was friendly; she recommended that the guys order double-shots because the single shot was just a tiny bit of liquor…she was not kidding. For appetizers we had the fish... More

I travel extensively, 150 days a year, world wide, but, the two nights I spent at the Princess Hotel and Casino in Georgetown Guyana, 13 & 14 June, 2014, were the two longest night of my life. The rooms look more like prison cells, very poor lighting. I enjoyed the finals of the World Cup on a 13" television, in... More

This hotel was awful. Even though we were scheduled to be there for our entire trip, we left and went to another hotel. The lobby smelled of smoke, but worst, the floor we stayed on smelled of mildew/mold. The sink dripped all the time. Breakfast buffet was bad. The wait staff lacked any sense of customer service. We ordered an... More

This is a large casino/theatre/lots to do resort hotel in Georgetown. The front desk is VERY helpful and they were always there to help. The restaurant is ok. Breakfast buffet is alright with a fair bit to choose from. The egg omelette is the best option, but no meat to add in. Ordering food for dinner is not fast and... More

stayed here overnight while traveling thru the bahamas.security was tight, almost like going thru a tsa check point. they ran me thru a metal detector. room was HUGE… but kinda on the dirty side.( difference of cultures?). no big deal though. went down for a bite at the pool, food took like 2 hours to get, cutting into much needed... I stayed at Princess hotel for 5 days before switching to another hotel. This has to be one of the WORST HOTELS I ever stayed at. There's no customer service at all at this hotel. First off, the room they first gave us was a disaster! Room had old smelly sheets and reeked of a mold smell. The shower in... More

I'd like to preface this review with the fact that I am an avid traveller that rolls with the punches and definitely do not consider myself a "Diva traveller" or an "Obnoxious American". As a Guyanese American who has travelled to Guyana over a dozen times and have frequented many places in the land of my parents' birth I can... More

The rooms were relatively clean but were large. The beds were lumpy and the hallways had a bad stench. The breakfast was greasy and below average. The staff were very friendly. The location was a bit far from the city center
