Me and my family ended up staying here during our stay in Georgetown...I must say it was the best hotel we stayed in while vacationing in Guyana. The staff was friendly but management need some training in customer service. Other than that I would stay again.

Just across the road from the upmarket Cara Lodge, this is a much more affordable option. We stayed here on three occasions, on two of these we were upgraded to enormous suites. Rooms are well-furnished and have modern, clean bathrooms. The hotel is secure and just up the road from the taxi rank. Breakfast is good. There is no bar... More

We were "bumped" here from our booked property who were undergoing renovatoins, and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. After a couple of false starts, each of us had to change our room due to malfunctioning a/c, and a broken lock, we had comfortable spacious rooms. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There is not really anywhere to sit, other... More

This was my first trip back home with my family and we felt safe at the Eldorado Inn. I've heard a lot of negative stories about trips back home but from the time of pick up at the airport to the time of drop off, we were well taken care of. The staff and owners Mrs. and Mr. Frankie DaSilva... More

This was my first time going back to Guyana since I left in 1975. I was pleasantly surprised by the large room and comfortable mattress (much better than my own bed). Needless to say I slept well.... The property is in a good location with easy access to the market, and transportation. the grounds allowed for a relaxed and laid... More

I moved here for one night because of a mix-up with another hotel. This hotel is nice---I didn't eat downstairs, so I can't speak to the food or service. Upon, check-in---they couldn't find the AC remote and borrowed from another room. The only downside worth mentioning---about 1-2 am---security opened my door, looking for an AC remote for another guest. This... More

I spent two nights at this hotel when on a business trip to Guyana and there are basically no good points about this place. The AC didn't work, they fixed it but when it was turned off it didn't turn back on. Breakfast was mysterious - no menu, no idea what was available. The staff oscillated between hostile and friendly,... More
