I am not sure why this lodging is called a specialty lodging. Writing a review about this lodging is very difficult. Nothing much to do.
You travel for a long time to get to nothing. If you are a bird watcher, then it might be okay, providing you can find birds. Their is no staff to greet you upon arrival. The rooms consist of a bed. The washroom and showers are all public.
Not worth the cost.

If you would like to advertise a specialty lodging, you should think about featuring Arrow Point, it is about 15 minutes after Timber Head. Lots to do and see. Activities: mountain biking, walking through nature trails, kayaking and large amount of water sports

The rooms are large, clean with all the modern facilities. The staff is superb. The dining area is also very large and welcoming.
