I have stayed at the Pegasus for 4 days attending a regional conference. I have never been to Caribbean before let alone Guyana, however I have travelled extensively in other parts of the world. Considering the economical and social local circumstances Pegasus seems to be the best hotel in Georgetown. (Some of my colleagues stayed at the Buddy’s and not... more

Wonderful place to stay when in Guyana. Misleading web site that promises free breakfast. The daily rates for accommodation changes more often that the stock market and no one can answer. Very convenient to all parts of the business community. The hotel shows signs of age and deserves major repairs. Hotel over price for the size of the rooms and... more

The Guyana Pegasus has always been a favourite of mine over the years and continues to live up to it's expectation as the best hotel in Guyana. They offer comfort and great service provided by excellent employees especially Eunice who, apart from the sumptuous buffet meals offered, made dining in the Browne's Cafe quite an enjoyable experience. Pegasus will always... more

This was my second trip to Georgetown since 2006. Hotel is great. Start with the service - Front Desk is so polite, well trained & helpful. They have 3 different kind of rooms ( both times I stayed in the Tower in an Executive room). Rooms have very clean bathrooms and have great views. If you get a sea-view room,... more

I have spent a couple of nights at Pegasus, the rooms were very comfortable. The staff is great, they are very courteous and helpful. The hotel is also a popular spot with local Guyananese due to the atmosphere and the restaurants. The food is good, depending on what you would like to have then you have your choice of the... more

While the hotel's location may seem attractive (by the Atlantic Ocean) the property suffers from high humidity, small outdated rooms, in a building that is in urgent need of a major renovation. A few years ago I stopped visiting the hotel due to flooding in my room which the manager never apologized for, but this year I felt compelled to... more

On the 19th April 2009, I checked into the Pegasus Hotel at about 10:30 am. I was assigned to room 607 on the sixth floor, as I hadn’t had much sleep the night before, I decided to get some sleep, I woke up around 6:00pm to my horror, to find myself completely bitten on my arms, neck and face which... more

The Pegasus in Georgetown, Guyana, is a decent choice to stay even though the place needs some refurbishing. The rooms are pretty spacious, clean and comfortable, however, some can be noisy, and particularly the ones close to the elevators. Bathrooms are clean as well, although a bit decrepit. The staff is generally very nice and helpful! One major plus about... more

Revisiting The Pegasus Hotel-Guyana (fomer Le Meridien Pegasus) after so many years made my trip to Guyana even more memorable. Even though i made some almost impossible requests, the staff always smiled and tried their best to make my stay comfortable. Those smiles which still linger in my thoughts and which reminds me of how great my stay was at... more

I stayed at the then Le Meridien Pegasus in Guyana and was very impressed with the employees who made me feel so at home. They were also very hospitable and friendly especially the reservations supervisor Nadine whose patience with me both on the telephone and in person was commendable. I especially enjoyed the poolside restaurant which reminded me of being... more
