Just returned from a working trip with a hospital in Georgetown and stayed at the Duke Pros Customer Service- even arriving at 330am the security guards welcomed us and got us to the room quickly. Everyone was very pleasant during our stay, Patrick the Manager checked on us during visits to the restaurant/bar Food- dinner was very good with a... More

Four of us stayed here for a week and had an excellent experience. Good food, clean and quiet rooms, great staff and a nice bar. The lodge provided affordable transportation to and from the airport and provides an executive lounge at the airport upon departure. Nothing but god things to say about the lodge and would definitely stay here again.

This boutique hotel is owned by a well respected business / entrepreneur in Guyana. His staff are excellent, and the food is very good. Any entre on the menu is good. The key point with this hotel is that it is quiet. Noise is limited. The rooms are clean, everything works, and the beds are very comfortable. This is not... More

I have been expatriated to Guyana 5 months ago and lived at the Pegasus hotel for most of it. The pegasus is the most famous, larger (and older) hotel in the capital; the rooms, although larger, were poorly maitained with stains on the walls, and muddy water every morning off of the faucet and tub... Not all bad but made... More

I stayed at the Duke Lodge on four different occasions during the period June-July 2013 for business purposes. Employees at the lodge were generally warm and accommodating to my needs. Deneisha, and Mishana are two wonderful front desk receptionists always willing to assist. I stayed in the new building and loved the end apartment facing the road even though I... More

This place is safe and they have wonderful workers. I did not use the bar service nor the dining facilities for anything more than breakfast. Chef was delighted to make me anything I wanted in the morning. You might wait a while but it was always very good food. Room was not able to close the windows all the way,... More

My trip to Georgetown was a last minute decision and as such I did not look for a hotel room until I arrived here. While waiting forever in the Immigration line, I made several calls to different hotels that had brochures at the airport. After striking out on my first few calls I was surprised that Duke had rooms available.... More

I don't think it's worth the money they are charging per night it is more than a North American hotel room and I mean a high end hotel it is not encouraging to go back and stay there unless you are filthy rich and I mean rich. There was mosquitoes in the room and it was dark if you open... More

I've stayed at two hotels so far in Georgetown so I can't compare this hotel to many others as what's a top hotel in many North American cities is different than what's classified as top notch in Georgetown. There aren't really any 4 star hotels in Guyana, what's top of the line here might get a 3* rating in a... More

My stay at this hotel was most disappointing. The beds were spongy. The place smell rancid. I could not sleep well. The staff were non responsive. The people in the next room were having sex and I could hear everything in my room.
