Normally i don't bother writing a review if it's not positive because sheets aren't clean or a light is not working but in this case It is necessary to share my experience in this hostal for all the following travelers. First of all most of all the people all over the world traveling to Colombia arrive in Bogota. I have... More

We stayed in Fatima Hostel for more than a week and totally loved it! Compared to the 3 other Hostels we tried in Bogota this was definitely the one with most character. There is many different hangout places, a big kitchen. We stayed in a dorm and it was super safe and very comfortable. Yes the sheets are sliding, but... More

We were recommended this place by a friend who stays in Bogota. We arrived late at night and were shown our room which was a dorm of 3 sets of bunk beds in quite a large room. Everything seemed clean enough however the beds had waterproof sheets on so the beds weren't that comfortable the sheets kept sliding off. The... More

I would not stay here again if I didn't have to (we made a mistake in the dates for another nice hostel in the area so were forced to look for another one :/) Some of the ups of fatima: - it is cheap - the staff is willing to give (good) information and for example make bus reservations. -they... Staff was so friendly and flexible! We just spent about 10 hours there during a layover and they let us check-in early, enjoy breakfast and were over-all helpful! Location is superb. Very clean room - maybe a little noisy because it faced the dinning area, but overall ok. Breakfast included toast, jam, coffee and fresh fruits:) Taxi from airport is... More

Fatima hospital is very unclean and is very unsafe area. In fact after I arrived at Fatima hospital it was made clear to me that it was not safe to even walk around that part of the neighborhood after 10 o'clock at night. The hostel is unclean and is very poorly managed. In fact I stayed there for 2 weeks... More

After spending the day in person in the area finding a decent hostel I found this place and asked for a room in two days time. I rang to confirm the day/ night before, left my email etc and all was well. My friend was coming off a 30hour bus ride so I was sure to book a private room... More

This hostal is very cheap. And the staff was friendly. That is about it on the plus side. Other than that it is quite dark everywhere. The rooms have seen way better days and some are smelly and/or noisy from the ajoining restaurant. There are very few bathrooms and you are lucky to find a clean one. We had a... More

If you thought hostels were for sleep, think again. Hostel Fatima, alternatively known as the Bogotá museum for aural annoyance, is a rickety hippyish hostel found in the candelaria district. The start of our stay should have given us a clue to the impending doom we were about to let ourselves in to but lazy receptionists who don't let us... More
