This place is awesome. Run by some of the strongest women I've met in South America. They truly care about your well being. I had a weird circumstance happen to me while I was in bogota and they backed me up and stayed up with me until five in the morning making sure I was happy! This alone makes me... More

I stayed here for 2 nights while I got my Brazilian visa sorted out. I stayed in the dorm, which had 14 beds I think, but it was so spacious, it didn't really feel like a dorm room of that size. They provided lots of blankets, and I was comfortable and warm despite the saggy mattress. The kitchen was lovely... More

This hostel/guest house is located on the hills of the Candelaria district. The set up: Three late 20 year olds beginning a two week excursion into Colombia. Arrived late Saturday night, and stayed for three nights altogether in a private room - although five beds were available in the room, so it could have been used as a shared dorm... More

This was a nice break after the craziness of Medellin, however after the second night it felt like we had checked into rehab! Drinking is not permitted as well as smoking. Tea is always available and the kitchen was good. Bathrooms very clean but hot water is temperamental. The staff are sometimes friendly but work extremely hard. Turned our room... More

I stayed at this hostel for the better part of a week. The moment I got there, something seemed off. It is a very dark and quiet hostel, to the point of literally being depressing. The staff are okay, but they were not too friendly. The owner is a bit snobby and overbearing to her employees and guests, definitely an... More

I stayed here for three nights and I really liked the tranquility of the place. The breakfast is good where they supply you with ample coffee and tea and you cook your own eggs. The beds are very comfortable and the dorms are very clean. The negatives are how you constantly have to get someone to open the door for... More

Not the cheapest place for budget travelers but definitely a very nice place to stay. It has a lovely interior garden and is all nicely decorated. The toilets were clean and bright. The breakfast was plentiful and it is close to the action in La Candelaria.

We stayed at Anandamayi at the beginning and the end of our trip through Colombia. Place, service, garden and rooms are just excellent. There is also breakfast, but this is rather basic. The hanging mats to rest are a must to do!

This hostel was almost too good. It has spoilt me for other hostels! I planned to stay about 5 nights, and ended up staying 11. Things that make this hostel great: - A lovely garden - A good included breakfast: an egg, 3 pieces of bread, 2 types of jam, fresh sweet tomato juice, tea and coffee (the tea is... More

We were so happy with our choice to stay at this hostel. It is very well looked after and the owners have spent a lot of time creating the place. We loved the peaceful theme throughout. The hammocks were plentiful and we enjoyed using them throughout the day. The location in La Candelaria is great. The staff were absolutely incredible,... More
