Very nice hotel. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Very clean. Nice central location--close to the Gold Museum and Plaza de Bolivar. Many restaurants in the area. Room was a nice size, bed was comfortable, and overall, the entire hotel was very clean. I can easily recommend someone staying there. Before you come here, find out when/how much to tip... More

Be forewarned: if you arrive on a Sunday, Calle 18 (the street the hotel is located on) is positively FULL of very shady-looking people participating in a street market I can only describe as a frightening garage sale/flea market, and this lasts until 6pm. After that, the street vending is restricted to the main streets in the area. We got... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and it was awesome. Located in the heart of the Candelaria, it was within walking distance to almost everything. It's an old Spanish style colonial with a central courtyard that had other buildings surrounding it so that it's barely visible from outside. The streets get very busy with people and can... More

Hotel is located on a side street couple blocks from main boulevard. Neighborhood is lively with many shops and close to museums and Bolivar Plaza. The hotel is recently renovated with 15 total rooms. There is 3 floors with no elevator but stairs is not that steep. Bellman will take all your bags up and down anyway. Strong wifi signal... More

Hotel: opened after a full and elegant remodel less that a year ago, we had a standard room and it was nicely decorated with a super shower. Service: In general very good, people are prompt to serve you, and in the case of the included breakfast, which had a limited servings, they immediately adapted it for my needs as a... More

First of all many have commented on the neighborhood, so our expectation was that it would be out of the way on a scary street. Well, the street does have its' moments, but it is 1/2 block to the liveliest street in the City--always chock full of people doing all sorts of things. Instead of, as some suggest, being badly... We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. It is a fairly new place, very quiet inside. Beautiful! Large room. Desk, good lighting, flat screen TV with lots of satellite stations. Very clean. There is an exercise room and spa (which we did not use). Great sleep, +hot water with great shower. Very friendly and helpful staff - we arrived... More

We were looking for something comfortable because we were not feeling well. When we first saw this hotel we were a bit doubtful because of the few reviews. The hotel is very new, restored colonial house (very beautiful inside) with big rooms and beautiful very warm showers. On top the service was excellent, the whole team was very helpful with... More

The Santa Lucia Hotel is a beautifully restored colonial house in a very central location (on the border of the areas Centro and Candelaria). The house also has historical connections: it once belonged to Simon Bolivar. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean and decorated tastefully. There is an excellent Wifi connection in the room, and the staff is superb.... More
