The hotel staff was exceptional, professional, and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and everything was done with a smile. Even though there was no staff that was fluent in English, they did everything they could to accommodate us, and it was a real pleasure. The location of the hotel is also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

HORRIBLE Hotel, please stay as far away as you can. Horrible management, they don’t seem to care about any of your concerns. I was placed in a room on the third floor, middle of the day it gets really hot and the hotel DOES NOT have AC/ Air Conditioner so it’s necessary to open the window and of course they’re doing some type of renovations and the window was blocked and couldn’t be opened. I called several times and each time I was told it would be resolved momentarily but after 4 days they finally told me it would take 2 weeks. Strong gas smell was coming into my room because of the work that’s been done again I called front desk and I was told there’s nothing they can do. On my last night I have an early flight tomorrow morning as I am typing this it’s 11:55 PM and there’s a huge live party happening right below me. I contacted the front desk once again and they were useless. They told this is normal and the party is going to end at 2 AM.

The hotel is situated in a nice residential area. It's literally a 5-7 minute walk from eateries. The quality of the rooms are ok, nothing luxurious. The bathrooms are spacious and nice, but there are no vents, and August in Bogota is like fall in New York (50-60 degrees Fahrenheit). However, the staff appeared to be a bit sketchy. When I arrived in the evening, the hotel was hosting a wedding reception which made it hard to check in because the receptionist desks were right next to the loud music. The staff were so eager to carry my bags upstairs for propina, but I'm so accustomed to doing for myself that I resisted. However, one of the hotel staff, who is a woman, was SO adamant about coming into my room and seemed elated when she had to bring me a portable heater. Nonetheless, the staff was accommodating. First, they changed my room because the first room I was assigned smelled bad and had broken curtains, but on the 3rd morning of our stay, one of the cleaning staff (a lady) just walked into my cousin's room claiming to "collect laundry", even though no request for laundry was made. The lady at the bar was SO kind to make a reservation for me at Storia D'Amore. Lastly, the food in the hotel, de-FREAKING-licious but a little pricey.

Amazing hotel with very friendly and efficient staff, the hotel manager Carolina instantly made us feel at ease and was so hopeful with our every need ! The location is also great, we’d planned on staying downtown but this area is actually much nicer and safer, with amazing food options and beautiful streets lined with tropical trees ! Can’t recommend enough ! Also don’t miss the breakfast haven’t had pancakes this good since leaving the UK

What a wonderful hotel. We had the best stay in the Hotel Rosales plaza. It’s was clean and beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. We had originally booked in for 2 nights and ended up staying for a week. It is also located in (in our opinion) the best side of town, with delicious food, coffee shops and cash machine all within walking distance. Thank you for everything, we look forward to seeing you on our next trip.

This is a little boutique hotel in the financial area of Bogotá. At the end of the day a hotel has basic functionality which after many trips it is either done or not. What really makes a hotel is its staff and culture and how that translates to your overall stay. The Rosales has this.

A very pleasant hotel. Efficient friendly check in. The junior suite was a large room, king size bed, good size double balcony equipped with a TV we didn't use, fridge, heater, safe and plenty of luggage space. WiFi was annoyingly very slow for even basic tourism email checking not heavy usage. All immaculately clean. Breakfast was the usual buffet arrangement. Breakfast cereals, surprisingly welcome after 10 days without, tea or coffee choice of juices, hot choice bacon, scrambled eggs, various other dish, cold ham, cheese, breads and a good choice of chopped fruit. A good start to the day.

The rooms are super minimalist and tastefully appointed. The beds are super comfortable and the shower super modern. But above all the staff is superlative, friendly, attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. While in Bogota I needed medical assistance. The personnel were sincerely caring and compassionate, always asking how I was doing and calling my room to check up on me. They went above and beyond even sending up a doctor and going to a nearby pharmacy to get my scripts filled. I stayed in room 903 on the top floor with a balcony facing the mountains. Street noise was very minimal from that high up. The only thing I didn't like so much was the hotel's food, not bad but not fabulous. There are however lots of different types of restaurants right out the door. I recommend the Rosales Plaza without reservation. Special thanks to Maria Nelly for all her help and genuine concern for my well-being.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Dec and got 2 connecting rooms. The rooms were really very spacious and huge! Each room had a balcony which was nice. There is a small exercise room on the 6th floor if needed. They have buffet breakfast but we didn't use it as there are so many choices around the hotel within walking distance. We were there on Christmas when everything closes in Bogota, and the front desk was helpful in letting us know where we could order food from, because the hotel restaurant was closed. There is a small market across the street and a coffee shop right next door to the hotel and many options for breakfast and lunch/dinner within a few minutes of walking. The rooms had a small fridge and one room even had a mini kitchenette with a microwave, sink and small stove. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place to anyone. This is located in the Zona G area of Bogota.
