We had a great stay at the Porton Hotel. The sorrounding area is very special as you can get everything form there but staying in a very quiet place. Amazing. Loved the great service and dedication of all the staff during the whole stay. Rooms are spacious and cleaned. I strongly recommend this Hotel when travelling to Bogota. more

Having stayed for the earlier part of our time in Bogota at the Grand House, which is half the price of this hotel and much more my kind of hotel, i wasnt really looking forward to staying at this hotel. The hotel is quaint and comfortable with a nice ambience, but it is not for me. I believe it would make a nice choice for a couple looking for such an atmosphere, but I prefer a more modern, upscale and open atmosphere. I stayed at El Porton Hotel in Bogota in October 2006 and found it to be a pleasant experience. The most striking aspect of the hotel is the multiple lobbies (5 separate spaces) - a tremendous amount of lobby space for such a small hotel.
