The owner has two hotels on the same block; be aware that your reservation is considered fungible and they will place you at whichever location they prefer. If you don't like dragging luggage up spiral staircases, stay somewhere else. Location is extremely loud with police sirens throughout the night. Staff are nice and rooms were sufficiently clean; the lobby area... More

I've visited the hotel in a short visit to Bogota. The hotel is really nice. The rooms are big and the personnel is really candy. It is surrounded by several restaurants and pubs in the historical part of the city.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed (4 bed room for 2). Unfortunately there was a lot of noice (door bell etc.) from the street and the other tourists staying above . Breakfast was typical OK, nothing to write home about... eggs, jam, bread, but good coffee. The location is very difficult to find, so taxi transfer is recommended.... More

I stayed two nights arriving very late at perhaps 1am. The gentlemen spoke no english I was on the 4th floor which is a bit of a hike. The room was lovely. But freezing cold, he offered a tiny heater which blew cold air not warm. I was freezing the first night even with the extra blanket. The shower has... More

Stayed here at beginning of trip when the city had no electricity due to an explosion. That I can understand but never saw the owner who could have given us some explanations. At the end of the trip stayed for one night and they gave us a room which had no seat on the toilet and I think the room... More

Great hotel in a great location, took the taxi driver a little while to find it as there's no signage! Wonderfully clean place, the best bedding and really simple, clean room. Great staff, super welcoming and very helpful.

Big clean rooms in heart of la candeleria old town! Arrival via a colourful cobbled street takes you back in time. Friendly staff with nice reception area and funky purple courtyard and yellow staircase. great views over the city and surrounding mountains. good wifi connection and tv included for free. Would highly recommend!

We arrived in the afternoon and were given one of the top rooms with a balcony looking over the city. Our room was funky and spacious, with hot water, and a fabulous large, comfortable bed - unlike the tiny "doubles" you usually find elsewhere. The night administrator was amazing - in about ten minutes he mapped out everything we needed... More

We had booked a room in the sister hotel to Casa Guadalupe (a few doors down the street) but when we arrived late at night we were ushered up the street to this newer addition to the owner's portfolio. I'm sure the other hotel is equally nice, but we were glad we ended up in the Casa Guadalupe. Our room... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, first night was in room 301, which is very big, cold and empty. Has only 2 chairs, the bed, 2 bedside tables and the closet. But not even a draw or something to cheer up the atmosphere. So this was the reason for asking another room for the next day. We had 402,... More
