My mom and I stayed for two nights in a lower level room. She had trouble getting warm even with the blankets provided. During the first night, the guests above us woke up at around 3 and we heard multiple people showering, luggage being moved back and forth across the floor, etc. It was impossible to sleep. I informed the... More

We were picked up at airport and transformed to the old town of Bogota. Where we were greeted at Hotel Muisca Staff with warmth and friendship. The Hotel was beautify with all amenities of a modern hotel but placed perfectly in the old historic part of Bogota. We were able to walk everywhere and explore the old city churches and... More

I came because I have liked the Idea of the team and also searched for a Hotel Level Comfortable place in the Candelaria. This place was the most disappointing in this trip in Colombia: The room was cold, They call it "Ecological" but I call it cold!!! the Central heating is just not strong enough for the cold... The bed... More

The hotel is up a steep hill, on the edge of the candelaria area. Taxis are needed at night. We stayed there for 4 nights, the main problem we had was the very loud noise from the boiler above our room, it did not seem to effect other rooms, so we requested a change. We were told this was not... More

Hotel muisca has a brilliant location at the top of la candelaria. We waked everywhere from there, and discovered that some of the best restaurants in the area are a stone's throw away. Inside it is like an oasis of calm from the madness of bogota-tastefully decorated, really kind and helpful staff and very welcoming. They even provided shampoo etc.... More

Spent several nights here with husband. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast (although the same every day with eggs, bread, juice and coffee) was delicious and plentiful. Hotel is beautiful with lovely decor. We love the sheets at this property! I don't know where they get them, but they are heavenly. Always had plenty of hot water, but the... More

The staf were amazing and helpful. Place was beautful and clean. Unfortunately the heating was hopeless and no amount of 'please fix it' got us a result. Additionally the place has no hot water before 5pm. Why?? We paid a pretty decent rate by Columbia standards. Hot water should be 24/7 at that price. ?..

Spent four nights here with spouse Jan. 20-24, 2014. Took a taxi from the airport for $25,000 COP. Calle 10 is rather steep and our taxi mechanically couldn't make it up the hill (I think he was so low on gas it kep stalling on the incline). Our driver knocked $5,000 off the fare and walked us up to the... More

We arrived at Hotel Muisca at 5am, fresh off an overnight flight and a little nervous about walking the streets of Bogota in darkness. One thing you might notice about the streets in Bogota is that at night, unless in a nightlife area, everything looks so closed that it might seem abandoned to Americans. It is with this trepidation that... More

I visited Hotel Muisca in November of 2013. I was to busy on return to write my review but it would be unfair not to mention the excellent care provided to me during my stay. The staff was wonderful catering to any need. Edna helped me with directions and was so kind to point out tourist points and suggest things... More
