I really loved the character and ambience of Hotel Muisca. My double room was fantastic, reasonable size, nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts good. And overall, a great location (in La Candelaria) as you're so close to many of the key sights. I wouldn't recommend walking around alone after dark though - take a... More

My sister and I had a nice stay here for two nights. We reserved a double bed online, but the concierge gave us an upgraded room with separate beds for free. The staff was very helpful with everything and let us print out our boarding passes for our flight out. The cafe has good coffee and the overall ambiance is... More

The Hotel Muisca is a gem, well situated, well maintained, clean and cosy. Touring South America for three months and having stayed in numerous hotels I can vouch that this is one of the best. Nothing beats good service, especially in a foreign country. I have arrived to Bogota ill from Peru and Edna and Juan Carlos went out or... More

The Hotel Muisca is a small boutique hotel in the Candelaria (the old colonial part of Bogotá) in an old colonial-style house. The hotel has a theme: the Muisca's, the group of pre-Colombian native peoples responsible for some of the most exquisite works at the nearby gold museum. The hotel has many charming common areas, such as a great roof... More

My mom and I stayed for two nights in a lower level room. She had trouble getting warm even with the blankets provided. During the first night, the guests above us woke up at around 3 and we heard multiple people showering, luggage being moved back and forth across the floor, etc. It was impossible to sleep. I informed the... More

The Hotel was beautify with all amenities of a modern hotel but placed perfectly in the old historic part of Bogota. We were able to walk everywhere and explore the old city churches and... More

I came because I have liked the Idea of the team and also searched for a Hotel Level Comfortable place in the Candelaria. This place was the most disappointing in this trip in Colombia: The room was cold, They call it "Ecological" but I call it cold!!! the Central heating is just not strong enough for the cold... The bed... More

The hotel is up a steep hill, on the edge of the candelaria area. Taxis are needed at night. We stayed there for 4 nights, the main problem we had was the very loud noise from the boiler above our room, it did not seem to effect other rooms, so we requested a change. We were told this was not... More

Hotel muisca has a brilliant location at the top of la candelaria. We waked everywhere from there, and discovered that some of the best restaurants in the area are a stone's throw away. Inside it is like an oasis of calm from the madness of bogota-tastefully decorated, really kind and helpful staff and very welcoming. They even provided shampoo etc.... More

Spent several nights here with husband. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast (although the same every day with eggs, bread, juice and coffee) was delicious and plentiful. Hotel is beautiful with lovely decor. We love the sheets at this property! I don't know where they get them, but they are heavenly. Always had plenty of hot water, but the... More
