Hotel Muisca is a well maintained and pleasant hotel in La Candelaria, the historic and "Bohemian" neighborhood of Bogota. The room was "smaller" but nice, clean, and well equipped. The staff was particularly helpful. The hotel is located one to two blocks up a moderate hill and near good restaurants, museums, and other cultural sites. The area is beautiful. Due... More

This is a great little hotel in the Candelaria. Nice room, good breakfast, and welcoming staff even when we arrived at 1:30 am following our flight from Canada. The area has fantastic restaurants and coffee shops, and is very close to the amazing Botero Museum.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The courtyard areas of the hotel are beautiful. Glad we were on the 1st floor as carrying luggage to upper levels would not have been easy. Hotel is located at top of hill from all the main attractions so getting to and from will be a hike. The heat is on... More

It is located up a hill, a steep hill, so you need to have physical strength in order to get there from the neighborhood La Candelaria or take a taxi cab. Because of the height, it is a very cold place but you won't feel any thanks to the comfortable beds, the heating and the hot water. The rooms are... More

Hotel is nice, fancy furbished small rooms. There is a balcony looking out to the street. It is quiet at night. However, this hotel is located a liitle bit up the hill, so you have to walk up after wandering the streets during the day.) But this is if you start being capricious really... Breakfast are OK: eggs, jam, bread.... More

The hotel is very cute. The hotel and the rooms are designed in the colonial style. Nice courtyards to eat breakfast or drink a beer. The rooms are a decent size. Many can accommodate families with either bunk beds or loft sleeping area. Shower only, which I prefer. Breakfast is good if you like eggs, I do not. Other choice... More

Charming hotel in the historic district. The staff are helpful and the complementary breakfast is good. The only downsides are that the wifi only works in the public areas and the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill.

This cozy hotel in the center of Bogotá is absolutely worth it! I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel. It has very nice rooms, with absolute privacy. The staff is friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Although the way up is quite steep, it is definitely worth the walk!

I loved this hotel....very quiet, peaceful, and friendly stay. From the moment i arrived, after midnight in a raining downpour outside, the guy to check me in was waiting with a smile and an umbrella to escort me in...he spoke English well enough so we could pleasantly get through checkin. I had room #4 on the ground floor. While the... More

the hotel is in an interesting historical building in the old city, but that is really the only good thing about it, rooms are tiny, the beds are too small for anyone over 5 feet, the hotel is very cold too
