The location of this hostel is a bit far from a lot of the sites we wanted to see in Bogota, but the neighborhood seemed relatively safe, which was a huge plus. Overall, the hostel was very clean and kind of quiet. The bar area was great to grab a drink before going out. I also thought the staff was... More

The only person that wad helpfull an friendly was a young guy. All the girls and women working there clearly are not willing to help and be friendly when your spanish is not perfect. I stayed one night instead of the three I had booked. Also nothing happening around there at all. Just go to candelaria and stay there. Service... More

Great staff, amazing location. It is so far the best hostel for my trip down to south America. It was my first time in Colombia and I had an amazing experience. It is very cool to be walking distance from so many cute places. ¨Chapinero¨ the name of their neighborhood is my favorite place from Bogota. Book now!

La Pinta was a favourite out of a six week trip in Colombia. The rooms are big and comfortable, each bed has its own powerpoint as do the lockers o you can charge your things and be assured they're safe. Staff were really cool and super helpful, and the hostel itself had good communal areas which made it feel very... More

I stayed 4 nights over there and the hole time the staff where amazing, always giving me nice tips about the city! Oscar was the best always around with a smile!!! I stayed at a 10 bed dorm that was really huge with a bathroom inside it and big lockers! Breakfast was good with fruits, cereal, bread and more. Sometimes... More

I stayed at Pinta on recommendation and I'm glad I did. It is clean with comfortable beds and hot water. The breakfast is awesome - self-serve fruit, cereal, bread, and coffee. Staff is helpful, explaining best use of one day in Bogota, best markets, and arranging for 5am taxi plus breakfast ready. The extra mile part of my review is... More

When the charming young lady, Marcela, picked me up at the Bogota airport at 11 pm on my first trip to Colombia, I immediately knew I had picked the right hostel for Bogota! The vibe was kicked back and casual. I chose, as I usually do, a private room, and wasn't disappointed. The hostel is in a busy part of... More

I stayed for 9 nights in this hostel. This is a small and very homely hostel. The vibe is very calm and peaceful - if you wake up after 9 am most people will already be out of bed. Ergo, this is not a party hostel. Was perfect for me but some might look elsewhere for that. The Chapinero area... More

The hostal located in Chapinero walking distance from a supermarket and several restaurants and a short distance to calle caracas which has pretty much anything you could need from a sim card to other necessities. The hotel has a buzzer system which gets you in and there is someone around 24/7. During my stay I met a few people in... More

We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and were very happy with the accommodations, especially for the price. We cooked in the kitchen most nights, kicked it around Bogota during the day. It's nice that this hostel is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, so you can choose to go to venture to different parts of the city... More
