We booked a private room for two nights in this extremely friendly youth hostel. Location is just perfect. Not far from both fine dining and wild partying areas. Very safe. We walked around ten blocks during the night... of course you need to use caution. Staff very friendly with perfect English. There is a back garden where you can meet... More

This is a weird hostel. There is no sign in front of the hostel witch says "La Pinta". Witch makes it hard to find. The lady's at the reception are always busy on there computers, and not really helpful. Also there English is very poor. After checking in they brought me to my dorm, witch was a mess because of... Without a doubt this is the best place to stay in Bogota. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I've stayed here multiple times and I've never had a bad experience. The housekeeping ladies do a great job at keeping in excellent conditions for the guests. I just love staying here and strongly recommend it. Also, it is in a... More

Good hostal in a good area. Noise from the street is a little loud though. Pretty good breakfast and fantastic coffee. Clean. My only Complaint is the guy with glasses at reception is a little weird. Beer is so so price but there is a place next door that has cheaper beer

I stayed here long term, mostly in the apartments owned by the Hostal. I frequently ate breakfast at and visited the hostal, staff and guests. The neighborhood is safe and trendy (Chapinero), near Septima the main avenue in the city, grocery, gym and neighborhood markets all around. Everything within walking distance in the city. Super friendly staff, clean and inviting... More

The showers were definitely hot, which is necessary as Bogota is pretty chilly. We paid $70 for a double bed private room with shared bath, which I think is pretty expensive. Breakfast was cereal. The location is in a nice part of Chapinero. Close to the Transmilenio bus station and nice restaurants. Overall, I'm not sure I would stay here... More

The staff was unpolite (even rude) and unfriendly The staff didn't clean our room. In the night there was a lot of noise. It's priced like a Hotel but it's in fact a not so great hostal. The price was almost the double then what was indicated in the lonely planet. Advise: take an other hotel/hostal
