Stayed here as part of a g adventures tour in Colombia. Rooms were pretty small but well appointed and light. Also good facilities at the hotel. Really handy location for some of Bogota's prime sights like Museo del Oro and the cablecar up to the mountain. Quite a juicy area at night though - I felt much more comfortable not... More

The big advantage of the hotel is the location at the edge of the historic centre of Bogota. The services are standard, staff doesnt´s speak english much which is constrainig if you need any other service than check in,check out and taxi. Slightly old furniture but you will get what you need.

A bit of a warning on this hotel: note there is little resemblance between the photos of this hotel posted on Expedia and the actual reality of the place itself. The rooms are much smaller than they look online and feel quite worn down. The lobby is however nice enough and the restaurant is fine. The nightly rate is reasonable... More

Only stayed for a few days, and this place really did it for me. The hotel is within walking distance from all the typical tourist places you would want to visit during a 2-3-day trip. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood (max 5-10 minutes on foot), Carrera Septima with a lot of shops and places to eat is... More

I wanted to stay in La Candelaria to see the old town of Bogotá and was nervous and had read recommendations for this hotel. It was a little sancturary with all the mod cons - Wifi, comfortable bed, restaurant. And I felt very safe. It is very close to the Gold Museum, Boltero Museum etc. Like other reviewers, I did... Excellent location, walking distance to many points of interest within the old quarter. Service, average at its best. Breakfast, was literally 'plain & bland', except for the coffee which was pretty good. Only ate dinner once at the hotel and it was enough... Room on the 7th floor was small but comfortable, kind of dated decor but clean. Water pressure... More

We stayed at the Hotel Augusta twice while in Colombia and would recommend this to a friend who wants a clean, stylish hotel in a great location. The hotel is located in La Candelaria, an area full of students, hostels, restaurants and where many tours of the city originate. You are five mins away from Bogota Bike Tours (HIGHLY recommend)... We stayed a junior sweet with our son. The room was very big, and service was great. Although little variation in the breakfast, but it was good and healthy. Nice neigbourhood, with a lot of sightseeing on walking distance, including Mount Monseratte.

Breakfast was delicious and with a lot of Colombian fruits and plates. The bed was not comfortable at all and the linens we evidently bad quality. Service is great and internet is fast enough. The upper floor conference rooms are good, but can get a little too warm when the sun is up. I'd stay here again, but only if... More

I stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is close to the main sights of the city. Rooms are very clean and confortable. Breakfast is not incredible but good enough. I really liked the neighborhood, many bars and restaurants around with a party atmosphere during the week end so don't hesitate to go out at night.
