We had never visited Bogota and wanted to stay near the historic center and museums in the Candalaria. This was a perfect location, as we were just blocks from the Gold Museum, the Botero museum, the government buildings and many plazas. We walked in the area during both daylight and night hours and felt comfortable, as there were many people... More

In our room, anyway. The main reason for the existence of hotels is the need for sheltered sleep. Bed comfort is the key quality measure. We did not sleep well. Otherwise, the hotel was fine, although the bathroom sink J trap wasn't connected properly, so the sink leaked onto the floor and the maid didn't seem to have noticed.

Mid range hotel with spaceous rooms located close to historic centre of Bogota. The area felt a little unsafe at night, and nearby restaurants seemed to close early. However well located close to many of the museums and historic area of Candelaria. Hotel was clean and breakfast good

I was quite pleased with this hotel. Staff was exceptional. Room was fabulous and the rate was very reasonable. The breakfast buffet was probably the best part- fresh fruit, eggs prepared how you like. Wonderful pastries and local dishes. The location is prefect. I would stay here again.

Great location, very close to the Gold Museum. It is on a main street and feels relatively safe at night. The service is quite good and includes a free drink upon the arrival of the guest. I wish the breakfast had more options for vegetarian and the room was a little bigger.

Good hotel, tidy, comfortable (neat mattress) they have a very good and fairly-priced (about 20 $ pp) restaurant. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in the "Candelaria" neighborhood, near Bolivar square, Gold Museum, Botero Museum. This is the touristic part of the city. Shopping centers and "big hotels" on the other hand, are in the northern part, quite far away.... More

My initial lodging in Bogotá turned out to be a huge disappointment. After spending one night there I hopped on TA to find a better option. Hotel Augusta was nearby so I walked over to take a look. My first impression sold me. It's a real hotel in a part of the city known for hostels and budget options. There's... More

Not the most luxurious hotel, situated in the old town of Bogota, Close to a lot of museums and the town square. Friendly and polite employees, but fairly small and simple rooms. Convenient bar/ breakfast facility. We did not get the kind of room we thought we had ordered, and it took days before we could change.

I stayed here for 3 nights in November 2014 for a conference at La Universidad de Los Andes. The room was small with no desk or any surface to work on, but acceptably clean and quiet. Staff was attentive and pleasant, breakfast very ordinary and a bit below Bogota standards in my opinion - no Changua! The location is the... More
