This is a busy hotel in the center of a business district and near many top tourist attractions. Streets are bustling during the day, and deserted at night. Hotel amenities and rooms are acceptable, but 3 star in quality. Food needs improvement. Staff is friendly, but not always well trained. The room was smaller than I prefer. Because of convenient... This hotel room does not deserve a "poor" rating, but it really was below average in terms of our expectations. We arrived the night of January 30, tired after a long day of travel. We had to change our plans due to a four-hour delay and got to the hotel at around 11 PM. The front desk staff were cordial... More

We spent four glorious days at this hotel and cannot say enough good things about it. After reading some rather negative reviews in Trip nAdvisor about this place, we were kind of worried. To our surprise, wev were greeted by very friendly and polite staff who were ready and able to help in anything we asked. The full breakfast is... More

We were so appreciative to have found this gem of a hotel – spotless, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, plus a great location in a clean, safe neighbourhood! From the hotel you can see Monserrate and Guadalupe, the two mountains that surround the city. Just blocks away is the bustling pedestrian street, Carrera7 where the action is - filled with... More

This hotel is a normal business type hotel. This works for some people, but not all. There is little character in this hotel. Dining is OK. Location is is exceptional. A walk into the older parts of Candelaria is minutes away by foot.

Good location around La Candelaria. Rooms are very small but clean. There are no fans or air conditioning so if it is hot out, I would not recommend hotel. Surprised they don't even offer a stand up fan. Windows open slightly. Breakfast is ok, service for breakfast is horrible. Staff don't really care for you. Front desk is not very... More

I recommend Hotel Augusta. It is located in the historic district of La Candelaria of Bogota, Colombia. It is within walking distance to several restaurants, museums, cultural venues and several government institutions. For my room, I took a Junior Suite, which was fabulous. Arriving on the night of Colombia's World Cup victory over Ecuador, the city was in a happy... More

I have traveled to over 50 countries and this was by far my worst hotel experience! Staff made a commitment for the hotel van to pick us up at our rental car return facility, and then dropped the ball and refused to pick us up at night, in a very dangerous city. After we made our way back to the... More

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival at the Hotel Augusta. The staff were very friendly and insisted on helping us with our bags out of the taxi into the reception area. The hotel decor overall is modern and well maintained. We found our room very comfortable & clean the only downside was that it was a little small but I... More
