I only stayed in Bogota one night but this hostel was great! Awesome location, the nicest owners and sweetest dog and the best hostel breakfast I have ever had (seriously, what other hostel gives you an omlette, fresh croissant, hot chocolate and coffee??).

Very friendly hostel in centre of Bogota: Pros: friendly, in Candelaria near tourist attractions, private room was huge and well maintained, clean, great looking room full of character and hammock in one corner  Cons: very loud location (manageable with ear plugs) very busy thoroughfare street next to window, small but nice breakfast, self service bread and spreads would be ideal... I've traveled using hostels all over the world, and I cannot recommend this hostel more highly. The family who runs it is absolutely adorable, and do a wonderful job keeping everything clean, running well and comfortable. For those who want to learn Spanish, they love guests who try to speak, and are very encouraging and patient with your mistakes or... More

The Hostle is amazing. The Family who owns the hostle is really really nice helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean. It takes 5 min to the next transmelenio Station and there are always nice people in and around the hostle. WiFi can be used.

The family which runs this hostel are very friendly, helpful and inclusive. On the Night of the Little Candles (7 Dec - a Colombian tradition) they gave us candles to light, and told us where we should go for the best fireworks and dancing that evening. The included breakfasts are tasty, there is a kitchen guests can also use and... More

We met gerardo in the streets of la candelaria, while he was walking with the most awesome dog I have ever met, Maya. He invited us to check out his hostel and we got a nice tour in the house. The fact that he and his family are so friendly, immediately convinced us to stay here. It is a very... More

The hostel offers all you need, comfy beds, nice common areas, good wifi and a equipped kitchen. The best are the owners though. The family running the hostel are the friendliest people I've met on my 3 month trip. When I asked how to walk up the Monserate and if it's safe, father and son decided to join me and... More

We checked into Bella Vista after a couple of horrendous nights' sleep at another neighbouring hostel, in desperate need of comfy beds and some down time. Bella Vista was just what we needed, the staff were friendly, we had a four person dorm to ourselves, there was a decent kitchen for cooking meals and a speedy Internet connection. It's right...
