Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Based on some of the other reviews I was not sure what to expect . I am glad I gave it a shot.My room was clean and comfortable. The evenings are quite cool, but its hard to blame the hostal for the evening temps. The blankets were more than enough to keep me warm. The... More

What a sad attempt to be a dream hostel as they pretend to be on their infopage. We had the 'blues' private bedroom and in my younger years I saw football dressrooms which were better than this. The whole hostel is made out of second hand materials. There is no atmosphere at all, but it was quiet at night. Cold... More

Getting from the airport to the hostel was a breeze and the staff on duty were so welcoming and even expecting me. The hostel is in a great location and offers free daily walking tours, salsa lesson night and free breakfast and coffee. The beds were made daily and the rooms always cleaned in the early afternoons. The staff were... More

The owners claim that this hostel is the ideal backpacker haven but I found the facility lacking in major areas: the wifi went down for two entire days! Unacceptable. Their idea of luggage storage was an UNLOCKED closet that smelled of urine and mold. The dorms themselves each have a unique smell, while cleaned everyday by staff, the smells and... More

Employees playing guitar at 2am. Party all the time despite the supposed "be quiet after 10" rule. Cigarette smoking inside during breakfast (also against their "rules"). No lockers. Room door could barely close. Bathroom fixtures falling apart. Their breakfast is stale bread and rotten fruit. You're better off without breakfast, as you'll have to go out for a second one... I went here after seeing it recommended in the Lonely Planet, which was a huge mistake. My girlfriend and I booked a private double room, which turned out to be right next to the bar. The walls are paper thin and they play music until the early hours, so sleep wasn't an option. I got out of bed to go... More

My boyfriend and I checked in to a private double room. It was basic but seemed fine - until my boyfriend found broken glass on the floor. Despite being half empty, they'd also put us in a room right next to the bar, which is very noisy and open until the small hours. We asked to move and the next... More

Why this place is recommended by lonely planet is beyond me. The 10 bed dorm where we stayed was smelly and cold. The threadbare sheets you are provided with look they were bought from a 2nd hand shop in the early 90's and when combined with high ceilings it makes for a very chilly night. The plumbing in the ensuite... More

This place is cheap and it's located in Bogota, so you cannot expect it to be that nice. It's basic and the folks that work there are nice, so you get what you pay for, it's just that you pay very little (like $10-15/night). The wifi was OK and the food they provided was an decent bonus, but the bathrooms... More

Your average hostel. Poor wifi, and quite poor electric 'hot' water showers. It was quite cold when we were there, and the hostel has quite high ceilings and no heating. We were given one blanket, but luckily there were some unused beds in our dorm room so could use those blankets also- otherwise I would've been quite cold at night.... More
