first of all LOCATION, it's in the best area for nightlife, foo etc. in bogota, everything in walking distance furthermore is it really cheap for what you get.. rooms in an apartment where you'll feel like home.. rooms are nice, calm perfect to relax. the best thing by far is antonio who's the owner.. we arrived too late for the... The double room was fine, beds comfortable enough, large bathroom. Water from the shower is pretty cold so shower early enough in the day because its fairly unpleasant late at night as it gets quite cold in the evenings in Bogota. It's very close to many bars and restaurants in Zona Rosa. Also, the bus stop to travel to the... More

Would not recommand to any of my friend: too expensive for what it is. Staid two nights in a room with banos. The hotel is actually a divided appartment. I couldn't get to meet the staff when i needed to, no towels no soap. Room smelling of humidity, the window is so small that there is no light. Hot water... More

Antonio is kind and helpful. The apartment is a few blocks from the heart of zona Rosa so the evening experience is perfect. I found the bus journey into the old city a bit tedious. My room was lovely and quiet.

The hostel is located in a safe area of Bogota, close to a bunch of restaurants and shopping malls and the Transmilenio stop Heroes (there is a direct line that goes to la Candelaria, the J72/ different number on the way back), and the price is a fantastic deal, given the location. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It... More

My fiancé and I stayed in Bogota at Chapinorte 3 nights and it was an excellent choice. We paid online for the room before we got there. The owner/manager Antonio gave us an option of airport pick-up, which we took. We ended up taking an earlier flight back, but were able to coordinate it with him smoothly. He was a... More

We stayed for five nights. The location is pretty much everything that this hostel has to offer. Near shopping malls and Zona Rosa. It's not really a hostel, it's more like an apparment w/ rooms and everyone shares the living area. If you're from the U.S suburbs like myself, DO NOT get a room that faces the main street or... My trip in January to visit family in Bogota and Manizales started with my stay at Chapinorte owned and operated by Antonio. Who is by all aspects a great guy and will go out of his way to make sure your stay is pleasant. The location can't be beat. The hostel is within 2 blocks (literally) of great dining, bars,... More
