First let me state that this hotel is not awful but there are much better choices in bogota. It IS in the old part of town which is nice BUT it is very noisy not only noisy from the street but from the hotel itself the walls are paper thin you can hear guests coming and going and their conversations... This is a great hotel in a safe and good location. The customer service was excellent and very friendly; the room was very clean, spacious with a nice design. There is not boubt that I will stay in this hotel again in my next trip to Bogota.

You have two primary areas when staying in Bogota - La candelaria where this hotel is and uptown which is more high-end. I enjoyed this neighborhood and this hotel was perfect. Its has very warm staff, a nice rooftop, nice rooms and a great breakfast that is included. I would return.

Bogota can feel overwhelming on first arrival, but this hotel will soon set you at ease. A friendly welcome, information on the local area and a lovely sweet tea were all offered within moments of setting down our luggage. The rooms were spacious (if a little noisy), the breakfast excellent, wifi worked well, and they had a good safe storage... More

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms. Staff were lovely, very helpful and the drivers they use were also fantastic. We used them for our airport transfers as well as a private day tour to the salt cathedral. Well priced and good location. Breakfast was nice each day, fresh fruit was good and they have a variety of coffee blends as well as... More

This is an old house turned into a hotel but the change has been done very nicely and gives a very homey feel to the interior. There is low key entrance and then the staircase which is covered with flora. Rooms are around this central stairs on different levels. Staff are wonderful and although I arrived at 4 in the... More

Hotel Casa Deco is a good mid-range hotel in the old, historic district of Bogotà. The highlight of the hotel is its staff. They are internationally minded and gave great advice for first-time visitors. Coffee and tea are available all day in the lobby as is a selection of intelligent magazines and several cards and pamphlets pointing to some alternative... More

My friend and I had never been to Bogota and booked this little hotel. It was great, beautiful room and a modern bathroom. The front desk was helpful and knowledgeable. They addressed all our concerns staying in this section of town. The hotel is well kept and bright. My only issues was the noise from outside, but after all it... More

While Bogota is pretty dynamic in the way of a cosmopolitan Latin City, I am very taken with Spanish Colonial architecture, so if that is your thing, then staying in the Candaleria district is a must. The hotel is meticulously being restored to its glory with really no interruption to guest stay or experience. Rooms are well appointed and very... More

This hotel is located in the La Candelaria (old part of Bogota). In fact Bogota was born not very far from here so the area has a lot of historical significance. The staff were delightful and very helpful. In fact Ingrid at the front desk was outstanding. This hotel is fairly close to the cable cars that lead to Monserrate... More
