Brilliantly located boutique hotel with the common parts all in an Art Deco style. Great for walking round the old city Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was not as nice as I expected after seeing common parts, but perfectly acceptable.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the oldest part of Bogata. There are fresh flowers everywhere, interesting mosaic tile work, good linens, no aesthetic detail over-looked. The breakfast room is full of flowers with a beautiful mosaic hearth and a fire when we were here in March. The coffee is great! Jaime gives basic Spanish lessons along with the... More

It's clean, and maybe just a touch above average. Great location in town, walking distance to the Botero museum, the Museum of Gold, and Montserrat. No water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was good with eggs, arepas, and a fresh fruit salad. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, with little touches here and there that made our simple one... More

You get a great welcome at the hotel from the charming, English speaking receptionists. And during your stay you will find them to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a small, converted, traditional building, with an internal staircase. It is the nicely furnished, with an attractive breakfast room. The rooms are comfortable and have attached bathrooms with efficient... More

Nicely located within the Candelaria (the historical centre of Bogota) within walking distance of the gold museum, the Monserate cable car, the Botero museum, the Bolivar square and numerous restaurants nearby. Friendly reception and lovely decorated hotel and rooms make this a perfect place for a few days visit to Bogota. The rooms are quite large and have minibar, free... More

This is an excellent choice in a convenient Candalaria location. It's a little more expensive than some other hotels in the areas, but worth every penny. There's English-speaking staff around 24 hours to answer any question. We arrived around 9 a.m., expecting to leave our bags until check-in, but since our room was ready, they let us have it right... Hotel Casa Deco was perfect for our group of 4 visiting Bogota in January of 2014. Rooms are well decorated, beds firm but comfortable, and reasonbly quiet. This hotel has no elevator, and at 7,500 feet up, you do get winded when going to the roof but that's part of the charm. Loved having drinks (BYO) on the roof deck... More

Great little hotel in the heart of the old district. Staff are lovely and helpful and breakfast is fantastic (the waiter is super sweet) with a very talented guitar player serenading you as you eat. Roof top is wonderful to watch the streets come alive. Would recommend this place.

First rate service. Hotel very clean and well-appointed, though our mini kitchen did not have a fridge. Tasty and good-sized breakfast. Coffee and tea available all day. Perfect location for seeing museums and sites in Candalaria, though we were advised to use cabs at night. (Cabs are cheap and hotel or any restaurant will call one for you, arriving within... More

The building is circular, so all doors point to the central, winding metal staircase. You will hear every door slam and every footstep on the stairs. There is actually a box of ear plugs at reception! And to make matters worse, they have a live (and excellent) guitarist playing from about 7am through breakfast, so if the noise doesn't wake...
