We stayed there for 3 nights in early july. We arrived without a reservation and had no problem to get a bed in a dorm. We extended our stay each morning cause we were waiting for my sister's luggages. The place is cold when you're not in your bed. It has warm showers and the bathrooms are ok. The pancake... More

I was disappointed. We decided to stay because of the brew part. When actually they only serve beer from one company. They also do not clean the lines for the taps. We stayed at the B&B so it was more quiet than the hostel. The bar staff were all guest that were working to get a cheaper stay. Not the... More

Upon arrival they asked us to pay immediately for the 2 nights. The price they mentioned however was higher than what I had booked through Hostelworld.com. When I showed them my amount (in dollars), they replied that I their prices in bolivianos on hostelworld.com were higher and I had to pay the higher price... This led to an argument, where... More

Don't know whether id recommend this hostel. The staff could not be faulted. Very professional, friendly and helpful. For breakfast we had a choice of a very comprehensive menu (additional cost) or alternatively yummy pancakes and jam etc., However the rooms are quite old, musty and my bed was damp- so much so that both I and my friend developed... First of all, don't get a taxi from the bus station! Its terribly close, the taxi took about 47 seconds. We were quoted 12bls but I gave him 7 and told him that that was all he was getting. We arrived without a reservation and there was only the slightly more expensive (around 65bls) 8 bed dorms left. I later... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in the B&B side which is just down the street from the main hostel. Out room was clean but dark and the shower needs some figuring out to work. However it served the purpose and was of good value. The hostel side we ate in 3 nights, te food is good WHEN it comes! The... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights just before a long treck. We stayed in a 10 bed dorm and the rooms are basic but comfortable and it was relativley quiet considering it's a huge hostel. The all you can eat pancake breakfast is a novel change (although if you go at peak time your usually due a wait,... More

The hostel was clean and reasonably priced. For every night you stay you get a free beer. But when we stayed there the keg or something was broken so no free beer just a free drink.... Which was a let down since we stayed to just taste the beer. The hostel did try to maintain a social environment by having... More

The hostel is actually a pretty nice place. You walk in and there is reception on the right, travel agency on the left. In the lobby there is a pool table and on the side they have a bar with lots of tables. However, despite the many "no smoking" or "prohibido fumar" signs, the whole downstairs smells like smoke. The... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst in La Paz. Reception staff were professional enough but the bar staff were either high on coke or drunk. The atmosphere wasn't great, showers weren't hot and the wifi was non existent. Lockers under the beds were of a good size and the free breakfast of all you can eat pancakes was also good.
