We’ve been backpacking for a while and stayed in a lot of hostel from South East Asia to South America! If you’ll compare to other places this place is not that posh but I tell you, it has that vibes that you want when you backpack in South America!! They have the underground bar where you can get free beer... More

We enjoyed our week stay here, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant/bar served great food and a free beer a day! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, and very glad for the large extra blankets they give as it does get chilly at night. The free breakfast is quite monotonos (pancakes), but is... More

There are two locations to this company. The B&B and the hostel. My husband and I stayed at the B&B which was incredibly nice, clean, and quiet but we ate and drank at the hostel. The entrance to the B&B has a smaller hang out area with a small bar on the roof where you can only get finger food... More

Stayed here for 2 nights but was not what we expected. Staff was slower than slow and not too friendly. The hostel was almost empty and although the building itself has a lot of potential, the common areas feel cold and unwelcoming. The breakfast was nice. We moved to wild rover after which is just as clean and where staff... More

Massive hostel with so many rooms. Kept very clean- and beds very comfy. Nice bar area which makes it social, not a party hostel but got a good atmosphere. (Rooms quiet at night). Bar also does good cheap food. Nice terrace area, breakfast gets a bit boring- unlimited pancakes, but you can order off another menu if you pay. One... More

Pros: Decent breakfast incl. Great location close to La Paz's old town and only a short walk to the cable cars up to El Alto. Hostel staff are very helpful in terms of booking tours like chulita wrestling and Death Road. Dorms are decent sizes with nice big lockers you can fit your whole bag in, and the mattresses are... Looks like they are hiring backpackers without any experience. They (french?) girl in the reception barely speaks spanish and knows almost nothing about the city. Her actitude was a little arrogant. It looked like she really did not want to be there except when she got friends/workmates calls, laughing and making everyone else wait...

We arrived there at night and there wasn't an dorm free. So they offered us an 3 bed dorm for 80bs. When we went out the manager asked us, how much we payed. We said 80bs. Then he said really unfriendly the it is 90bs. I don't care about the 10bs, but the way he talked to us was so... More

Adventure Brew looks good on paper, free pancake breakfast and a free beer every night. Good right?! Unfortunately that's about where the highlights end. Adventure Brew is a large hostel and pretty faceless. Staff are not particularly helpful. Dorms, for some bizarre reason, are fitted with yale locks and customers are not given keys. The 'open door policy' is not... More

Adventure brew is a great place to stay. They two convenient adress close to one another for you to choose. The staff was very friendly and helpful in both my stay there. I was in this hostel in September 2012 and again in February 2013. Love the place, great location at only a few minutes from the city center of... More
