Newish hostel in a good location in the city. Great view from the breakfast room/bar though the breakfast itself is the usual bread and jam only affair. Price average for city centre hostel. impossible to sleep due to noise until 3am then a slapper roomate decided to bring a bloke back for some late night passion, luckily this late night... More

The hostel is filthy, disgusting. I stayed there for 4 days, our room didn't get cleaned, they didn't even supply toilet paper. The place stinks, it's loud, impossible to sleep (people yelling until 6am). I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!

We stayed in two other Loki's and they where fab! La Paz was different, when we got there the lady at reception was rude and wasn't helpful at all! Positives where, the room was ok and the shower was really nice! Negatives where it took about 30 minutes to get a drink, people where always hanging outside your room no... More

Don't let the well known name fool you. Loki was cold, dingy and had very little atmosphere. I asked for a second blanket as they are fairly thin but it never came. The staff didn't explain anything to me upon check in. Where and when is breakfast? (bread roll). Where is the bar? Apparently there is a gym? Who knew.... More

The worst place to stay. Dirty, a lot of noise. I hated this hostel. Even the location is not worth it. There are many good hostels around the center. So choose other one. I'll never stay in the Loki Hostel again. The only good thing was the hot shower.

Went there to visit a friend in Bolivia, ended up staying 2 weeks. The bar is absolutely incredible far better than any other hostel/bar/club in Bolivia! Luis the bar manager did everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I would recommend it 100% for anyone looking for FUN, can be a bit disorganized but then again, I am... More

We had a great time meeting people and drinking upstairs in the bar which is on the 7th floor and looks out over la paz! Everything in the bar is dirt cheap which makes for a great time but, being a party hostel, you should bring a pair of earplugs because it is loud all night

I stayed in Loki a few years ago and really enjoyed it. This new Loki is a different story. The staff are unhelpful and rude, the rooms are filthy, food takes ages to arrive and the wifi is rubbish. The only nice thing is the view from the bar. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

From the very beginning things looked bleak! We had booked an airport pick up from loki only to arrive at the airport to find no one there. We called the hostel and were told that the person on the phone didn't speak English. We sourced our own taxi and arrived at loki only to be chortled at when the airport... More

This was without a doubt the worst hostel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. In fact it isn't even a hostel, it is just an old hotel that hasn't been renovated with as many beds fitted into each room as possible. To start with your room is not secure - the keys used throughout the place are generic... More
