We arrived in La Paz without a hotel booked and were very happy that we found Cruz de los Andes. Lovely, colorful rooms (ours even had a little balcony) and hot showers with great water pressure. Wifi was consistent and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful although they didn't speak much English.

This is a great hostel., more like a hotel really. We had a doublé room with an en-suite which also had a shared balcony. The romos were clean, the breakfasts good, wifi throughout and 2 computers to use. There as also a pool table and common área for socialising. We realyl liked the hostel and it is a 2 minute... More

This is definitely more of a hotel than a hostel - the rooms have a hotel feel, the front desk is more hotel than hostel, and even though there are communal spaces it is not a place to hang out with your fellow travellers. But, given that we were feeling pretty travel weary and fighting off the remnants of a... More

The rooms are very accommodating, the staff speak English and can help you out with tours. Every room seems to have a nice painting. Great restaurants are just nearby and cash machines everywhere. Oh and free TP and cocoa leaves for extra points.

This is more of a bed and breakfast hotel, than hostel. Each room is private with a 3/4 bath attached, and there is a simple breakfast served each morning. The location is good, but not great. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I stayed here for 10 days and would definitely stay here again. The internet is better on the... More

We arrived into El Alto, the airport, & took a taxi over to the hostel. The hostel offers pick up service, maybe $100 bolivianos/$30. The hostel recommends the taxi for cheaper, think it was about 25 bolivianos/$3. We arrived hours before check in. The hostel let us put our bags into storage & gave us a slip to reclaim them.... Very clean room, hot water, nice breakfast buffet. Very friendly owner and a tour desk as well. A great place to stay in La Paz, location is pretty good as well. But a little more pricey than other hostels of course.

The hostel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly, easy to work with. They let us drop our bags off early, have a decent tracking system. The showers were hot, the beds comfortable, and there was even a half decent pool table downstairs. Breakfast was not excellent but decent enough.

Great hostel. Had private room on top floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed breakfast with variety and plenty of it. Room good size, nice and clean with decent bathroom. Good location next to witches market and most attractions. Wifi very good
