I stayed for a week. They arranged for a transport to pick me up from the airport and a taxi to take me there whwn I left. Prices are affordable. Clean, big rooms. I changed room because it was too far from the lobby (annex 2) and moved to a nicer mini apt. Both rooms had hot tubs and large... More

The Calacoto Hotel is well located in the Calacoto neighborhood, close to the embassies and to the UN, restaurants, etc. Hotel arranged my transfer to the airport at 3am after I went to another city, and they were available to manage efficiently all my requests. The internet is not so good. Breakfast was Ok but kind of disappointing.

The hotel is in a very good location, the service was good, didn't have refrigerator, the rooms are very old, to expensive for the value. The breakfast was average, people are very friendly and respectfully. The mattress was ok, the suit has a bathtub, was clean.

Stayed here twice over the course of a week. First in the main building- an old fashioned, character full room in the main building. Beautiful! But gave me no hint of how big the hotel is. Secondly in one of the annexes. Huge room with 3 double beds just for me, huge bathroom to match. Both rooms spotless. My only... More

This place is comfortable, super clean and has much higher standard service and rooms than their prices indicates. The beautiful court yard garden provides some natural calm in the otherwise loud and smoggy city. The restaurant has good food and at the buffet style breakfast they cook you your own eggs and pancakes. The staff is very helpful and their... More

The Calacoto Hotel is well located in the Calacoto neighborhood, Macrodistrito sur of La Paz. There are lot of facilities nearby such as supermarkets and general shops. It's a 10-15 minute walk from Montenegro street and and 20 minutes walk from Irpavi neighborhood. The restaurant is great. Lots of options for lunch and dinner. The prices are ok, not the... More

Great hotel. Stayed here in July (winter). Rooms all had oil radiators, lots of blankets. Old section had a lot of drafts due to old window fixtures - ask for annex 1 or 2. Excellent restaurant although variety gets limited over 2 weeks. Very cheap prices. Travel agent in the lobby, but I found their excursion prices expensive. Would try... More

This hotel has a good restaurant and is near a lot of the shopping and night life of the Zona Sur of La Paz and is one of the more economical hotels in the area. Service is good, rooms vary a lot and are a little dark. Close to the United Nations offices as well and there are many embassies... More

I liked this one but some in my travel group didn't and I think there is a big variance in rooms - mine, in main body of hotel, was big, clean, comfy, and close to computers and cafe- style tables in well-lit space on first floor - lovely, as I had work to do. Others were stuck in the back... More

We are a family of 5 people, and we stayed 2 nights. We enjoyed it very much: rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a typical patio in wich you can easily relax. Breakfast is extremely rich and various. It's located in the lowest part of the city, and this is very helpful when you arrive in bolivia for... More
