Friendly and helpful staff, roomy and well-furnished rooms, work desk convenient for computer work, great breakfast included in price, free newspapers in the room, overnight shoeshine, all this made my stay (on business, for two weaks) comfortable and pleasant. Altitude some 300m lower than downtown La Paz helps to deal with altitude sickness (soroche). In-house Tranquera Restaurant fine and there... More

The hotel was first class. The rooms are very nice, they are all suites and very fairly priced. The pool and Jacuzzi are underground and very well kept. The temperature of the pool is 33 deg centigrade. The beds are a dream as well as the pillows. The owners went to no limits on the quality of the hotel. The... More

We arrived at 3.30 am on a flight from Lima. Tired! the Tour company had booked our room five months earlier. We were met by the receptionist who confirmed to our tour guide all was in order and thus he left. An hour later we were still standing at reception waiting for our room. The receptionist was using every delaying... More

The hotel was definitely great with all commodities one can expect. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I must say the bed was incredibly comfortable and the windows were sound-proof, all of which made a very good sleep possible. One thing that could still be improved in the room was the illumationation at night, since it was a... More

I went there with my wife to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. The room was decorated with rose petals and towels in heart forms. Dinner was not that good. The service was great but the food had too much salsa on it. Very heavy. Breakfast buffett is great, good variety. I heard about the La Tranquera restaurant in the hotel... More

Good service for Latin America...English speaking at front desk is helpfull. Rooms are well appointed and modern, clean and great views. Sitting area and TV that swivels add to the experience. Pool closed mondays for maintenance seems unnecessary. Lower down in the Calacoto neighbourhood and less affected by the high elevation of La Paz. Well appointed rooms and good food in... More

Compared to other so called 5 stars hotels in South America this one deserves the stars. Nice sizeable rooms, nice amenities, polite personnel, we were there with a group visiting. The breakfast is not outstanding but Ok. The only thing I would really recommend to improve is the English of the staff in the Restaurant. Spa is bad smelling, green... More

It is the perfect place to stay as you arrive into La Paz. The high altitude can really ruin your stay in this beautiful city, but staying in the lower altitude of this suburb takes the pressure away. You can sleep better and breath easier. The hotel makes sure your stay is pleasant by providing all the help they can.... More
