First, let me qualify my rating. This hotel is probably accurately described as Very Good when compared to other hotels in La Paz. If comparing it to hotels in Peru, it probably falls closer to Average. This is an older hotel ('70s vintage), but has comfortable rooms, and is located within easy walking distance to main square & cathedral. We... More

Spacious but dated room with yellow spa bath presumably from when the hotel was voted best in Latin America in 1997. 180 degree floor to ceiling windows and very comfortable beds. Given 2 welcome drink vouchers on arrival but like most hotels no-one spoke English and we couldn't work out where or how to use them. Other guests offered us... More

Very large bedroom, large bathroom with Bidet and separate sitting room on entering. Our view looked out on the busy streets of La Paz. A little street noise can be heard even with the windows closed..... Did not find the bed or pillows very comfortable. Good breakfast on offer, free wi-fi in rooms and if you are a smoker it... Step back into the 70's. While some might be put-off by the vintage furniture and goldenrod colored bath fixtures, they are missing out on what it great about this hotel. The rooms are big and clean. The food is outstanding, especially from the restaurant on the top floor where the view is breathtaking. The service is fantastic. The location is... More

Pleasant and helpful staff that provide good recommendations for local restaurants while booking reservations and taxi service. Be aware that there is TONS of traffic and it takes way longer than expected to arrive at your destination. (If you are using google maps, double the estimated time.)

I never stayed in the hotel - didn't agree with our budget - but we did eat here on the last night of our trip. Be very careful! Whilst having had funny stomachs the whole way through our stay, we managed to get it mostly under control by the end of the month. Unfortunately, almost every member of our team... More

I had great days at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the food amazing, and the room had comfortable bedding, sanitized, clean towels. It's located right in downtown La Paz with many attaqction nearby. The internet access country wide is not splendid, however the hotel does provide free internet access.

We stayed at festival time so although our room overlooked the square with an excellent view of the festival. The down side was it didn't finish until 1.00am on the 2nights we were there so the sleep quality was poor as it had single glazed windows. They certainly know how to celebrate in La Paz. Our room was exceptionally large... More

The Hotel is located just three blocks from the Main Square, everything is just two blocks away. Breakfast Buffet is delicious and they also have a heated pool and steam room. The Hotel is perfect for business travel or for a family travel. I recommend this Hotel in La Paz.

This green tower block hotel is right in the heart of La Paz, so it is a good location and of course it is an easy landmark to spot, so you won't get lost. Spacious bedrooms, but we couldn't get the temperature adjusted right in ours. Blue and black bathroom straight out of the 1970s. Two different restaurants. I had... More
