After a night in a local "boutique" hotel (more like a flop house) our tour guide, upon asking about our first night stay, immediately took the reins and arranged for us to stay in the Hotel Europa. We were NOT disappointed in the least. We were immediately guided to our room on the ninth floor and relieved to find a... More

When we arrived in La Paz we looked for a hotel close to city center and close to the bus station. We found hotel Europa. Additional we were heading for a more luxurious place after some days spent on a bus. We found it. The hotel is rated 5*,on Internet just with 3*. Something in the middle will fit ,... More

We have stayed at the Europa twice now & both times have enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfy, there is a gym, spa & masseur in house. The restaurants have great food. The café downstairs serves breakfast, lunch & dinner and the meals were all good. There is a bar on the ground floor as well & we found... More

I feel a little churlish not being able to give this hotel a better report. We were put in an apartment type room on the top floor giving us fabulous views of the city and mountains. But when we went to the Hotel Bistro to get a bite to eat we were told there was a private function and we... More

Since years I lodge at this centrical, yet quiet location in La Paz. Their well lit comfortable heated rooms are heaven after a day of work, their pool nice for some laps after being in the sauna and refreshing shower. For work, their spacious desk with multiple socket types for energy is most handy! Refurbished restaurant nice , waiters ame... More

If you compare this hotel with 4-5 star hotels elsewhere in the world, please don't. This place is more like 2-3 star hotel. The rooms are fairly simple and and small. The breakfast is on average compared to other experiences we have had. But I was told by our tour guide this the best place they have in La Paz.

I stayed for eight nights In October 2014; the hotel staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The Wi-Fi works - but annoyingly every time you use it you have to register your device again! A bit of a pain. The hotel cars are not the best and not too well maintained. I would... More

La Paz is the highest large city in the world and we were well aclimatised to the high altitude before our visit. The hotel is located near the Main thoroughfare and is convenient for shopping, cafes, restaurants, main market etc. We walked everywhere, and felt ourselves to be reasonably safe in this bustling city! The Hotel scores highly on all... More

We stayed for two nights and found it offered all that was required. It is in the new business area of La Paz and close to the main roads. It was quiet and no issues with noise or sleeping.
