Sol Andino was like my base for my travels in Bolivia and it was a great change from bunk rooms at dorms. Good breakfast and clean rooms (and they even had HBO which was suprising). But the best part about it was Paula - who is the onsite travel agent. She is so helpful and really seemed to care about... More

We had 3 night at the Sol Andino and had a good stay. The rooms are clean and have cable TV. There is wifi in the rooms and they offer a good breakfast. The showers are also super hot which was great after a cold day/night in La Paz. We enjoyed it so much we stayed there again after a... More

The hostel was located quite close to the main tourist area. The rooms were large and clean, although a bit cold. The breakfast was average, they will make eggs if you ask. Make sure you have cash, they don't take credit card.

We stayed 4 nights in a twin room with private bathroom Pros - The hotel is very very very quiet. If you are looking for a party hotel, you should definitively go to an other place :) If you want a peaceful place, so it is perfect. - Room was cleaned every day - Hot shower, wifi... - Reception 24/24... I would highly recommend this hostal! We arrived early hours of the morning from a horrific overnight bus from Uyuni, my partner was sick on the bus. The hostal had 24 hour reception which was great and our room was available at 7am in the morning! The rooms are very spacious, the most comfortable bed I have slept in South... More

Hostal Sol Andino is a very comfortable place to stay. Rooms are big, most seem to have at least 3 beds, and are cleaned every day. We were always given fresh towels - a surprise. The shower was the best we've had in Bolivia - the only one where I had to turn on the cold tap! - and powerful.... More

Really nice place. The staff were really helpful in giving ideas about restaurants and good bars in the city. Also the lady working in the tour office which is part of the hostel was a little gem for sorting us out flights out of the city when there was a miners strike and all of the roads were blocked off... I loved staying at Sol Andino. The staff is so helpful. I needed to get an early breakfast one morning and they prepared something for me. They do their best to help you with anything. There is an in-house tour office who can help you with anything you'll need; tours bus tickets; pick ups. The rooms are nice and clean.... More

Generally nice hostel. As mentioned in other reviews it is quite a walk up the stairs to some of the rooms. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was pretty good, with nice bread provided. Aside from the hostel, do not get your laundry done by them! When our laundry returned we were missing three items and some items returned more... More

We arrived late after a long trip from Chile. Picked up at the airport. Room was great. Hot showers! Stong wifi! Good breakfast. But the best part was Paula. Paula is an on site travel coordinator. We needed to get to Arequipa, Peru and within minutes Paula not only arranged our bus tickets- she came with us in the taxi... More
