The location of Residencial Latino is great - close to the government buildings. The interior courtyard is quiet and peaceful and the rooms are simple, but clean. The front desk staff are great. That is the good. The bad. It seems that penny pinching is the rule here. No towels if you have a room with a shared bathroom. And... More

My girlfriend and I had booked a couple of nights here prior to arriving in La Paz. When we arrived at the hostel, the man at reception claimed that my booking had not been confirmed and that he had no record of it. I showed him the booking confirmation email on my phone. He then claimed that the hostel does... More

Had not received the booking, they alleged, which it turned out that they received. Did not agree to the stated price, which they did after a little angry altercation. Tried to make us pay for the free breakfast, which we did. No good staff.

We stayed here for a total of two nights, but played with the idea of leaving after the first night. First off, choosing a place to stay in La Paz is a pretty tough decision as there are so many accommodations, but not so many good ones. Pros: The location of the hostel is pretty good, about a five minute... More

This was good value compared to some other Hotels in La Paz. It has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with space to chill out. Rooms are clean and tidy and it is in a central location. Would recommend.

Very clean (no dust!) and spacious place to stay in La Paz. It has a very good location close to town centre. The internet service reaches truly the whole place and the signal it´s not too bad (for being Bolivia). And they have a computer in the main hall that guests can use with no charge. Breakfast was quite nice... More

It's very cheap, but basic hotel. There is Wi-Fi and public computer, but the bathrooms need to be renovated. Also rooms need a new pillows. The breakfast is basic, but good. Also this hotel has a good location.

the rooms were very basic with no curtains and very thin walls so light and noise kept me up. the staff were helpful for places to eat and transport. there is a computer and free wifi which is the only good thing and the cold showers were only tolerable due to the heat!

This place was good value in La Paz, but our room was a little cold and moldy. Also, they were very strict about things, like the amount of coffee you put in your cup of coffee in the morning or charging you for using their phone. That being said, it was cheap compared to some of the other double rooms... More

We were very happy with this place, but it echoes so you can hear the front desk or people walking around so bring earplugs. It was also light in the room so something to cover your eyes and a towel to use the shower. The staff was very nice and precise. Would stay there again with a few tips.
