Stayed twice at this hotel as it is convenient to the airport. Basic and clean, the rooms were acceptable but certainly not modern looking. The hotel had actually a heritage feeling about it. The restaurant was limited and the food ok for the price. I ordered their daily dessert for the room but it never arrived. I also ordered a... More

We are not normally mid range hotel travellers, this was a sort of emergency pit-stop. The hotel is... ok... Clean and comfortable, pleasant staff, decent breakfast. Our room overlooked a busy road on the night of a big football game, so we definitely needed earplugs. Overpriced for what it is. There are much nicer and cheaper places to stay in... More

Went there after a month of cheap and nice hotels in small villages, I wanted some confort and luxe for once I could effort it. Very disappointed. More than 55 euro for a very noisy and not particullary nice double bedroom. In the moring something broke in the room and a big piece of wood fall on the head of... More

We spent a night at the Osira Hotel in La Paz before our plane trip home. We had just spent a week in the quiet of Lake Titicaca thus La Paz was a bit of a culture shock. The hotel met our needs for a quick stopover. It was centrally located, across from a park and within walking distance of... More

The hotel is in a great location, close to the San Pedro plaza. Most tourist spots are close by (5-10 mins walk). The hotel staff is also very friendly. The rooms are clean. But the main problem is that the plumbing is not good quality. The bathrooms can be a little smelly due to some bad plumbing. I found the... More

The hotel is really cosy and well located. The staff was really helpful, and the room was very nice. The breakfast was also very good. We spent 3 nights there, travelling during daytime around La Paz & surroundings. In short, I do recommend this place; if I travel again to La Paz I'll stay there again.

The Osira is a very quaint little hotel in a great location in La Paz. We stayed for 6 nights and experienced nothing but friendly people offering great service. We walked to many different places in the city with the Osira as a central gathering point. It can be a bit noisy (our room was in front but had a... More

Good value for money, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good clean rooms with reasonable facilities. Good location on San Pedro square, close enough to walk to all attractions and action without being in the thick of the backpacker scene.

We were a group of three people visiting La Paz to climb Huyana Potosi and we had La Paz as the base. With lots of bags and gear we stil found the triple bed room rather spacious. The front desk was very helpful and service minded. Very attentive staff. Good WiFi connection and a nice but simple breakfast buffet. if... More

Located within short walking distance of the vibrant city centre of La Paz, Bolivia is the charming Hotel Osira, a QUALITY establishment at a realistic price. Situated close enough to the 'action' but suffienctly distant to avoid city clamor, it is an oasis of tranquility and calm. The accommodations are very well appointed, the buffet breakfast above average, and the... More
