Stayed here a week and apart from the weekend staff on the last day being pretty annoying this place is absolutely fine. It gives you all the basics you need and it's right in the centre so perfectly placed. One tip, if you get down to breakfast within a reasonable time before 10am shut off and they ignore you, don't... More

Strategically located a few steps from el mercado de hechicería and la Iglesia de San Francisco this place is just an average hostal. The rooms are small, the bathroom tiny an the cleaning bare enough. Also breakfast was poor. From the top floor you can get a great view of Illimani.

This is a basic hotel which is located in the heart of the city centre next to the witches market and some nice restaurants (cafe del mundo, restaurant sol y luna). The staff is fine, but a bit lazy. Rooms were not that clean. The bathroom had a really bad smell and the sheets on the bed were not clean.... More

I stayed at Sagarnaga Hotel when i was backpacking with two friends. The hotel as whole is average considering the standard you get in La Paz. The room is clean and they provide enough blackets and they seem to be clean. There was hot shower, but the curtain around it was disgusting and there seemed to be a connection betwteen... More

Stayed at hotel twice during month in Bolivia. Only problem was the LOUD Brits screaming in the hallways in the middle of the night arguing about money problems when they returned from local bars. Rooms are cold, but so are most hotel rooms in Bolivia. Room was clean and water was hot.

cheap and very good location. as expected rooms/bathrooms for the price. they were supposed to wake us up 3:30am and get us a taxi to airport for 60Bol. No one showed up at our door, when we got down there was no taxi. We woke up the receptionist, who later found us a car to airport which ended up charging... More

Very cheap, centrally located hotel. Storage room for free. Nice and well-mannered receptionists. And it is all thats good about this place. On the other hand, rooms were filthy, rusty, no hot water (we had to use common shower) Stay if you dont care about cleaniness.

Stayed here during our time in La Paz. Good location in the 'tourist area', safe and friendly staff. Comfy beds and HOT shower. The place could be cleaner. The carpets are old and dirty, but make it feel less cold. Breakfast is awful.

I was booked to stay in this hotel, but in the end I couldn't stay. To say the room was filthy is an understatement. Hairs in the bed, scum on the floor of the bathroom, carpets not hoovered. The hotel needs a total overhaul as the location is great and it could be nice. We asked to see another room,... More
