Everything was dirty and the restaurant was disgusting. Breakfast was horrible so we didn't even have it. The staff were dodgy... We wanted a drink in the bar at 8pm and the two bar men were in there watching TV and wouldn't serve us, they said the bar was closed. The reception staff were very dodgy around us booking and... The best thing about this hotel is its location. You would be one corner from the amazing witches market, there are two ATMs nearby and most of the best La Paz' travel agencies are at the same street. My first minutes there were kinda weird. There were many asian tourists checking in at the same time I was and the... More

I stayed here as part of a tour group and enjoyed my stay here. The rooms although not large, are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is basic but enough, if you want more there is a great cafe next door. I found the service to be of a very high standard especially the manager Ricardo who assisted me greatly. I... Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice clean rooms and very helpful staff. The breakfast is basic but you do have the choice of purchase other items such as eggs etc. if you so wish. The hotel is next to a lovely cafe and their are also two ATM's nearby. The hotel is a short walk (up hill) from the church... More

Hotel Sagarnaga is a lovely hotel and I was priviledged to have a room that looked out towards Mt Illiamani. You felt part of the family which made you feel very welcome and it is really well situated for the witches market and souveniers as well as a 5 minute walk to La Paz City.

A great hotel in a very good location close to the old city centre, tourist sites, many restaurants and hundreds of shops. Staff are very helpful, giving great advice on local sites etc. The room was very clean and tidy, great value for money. If doing 'death road', use a reputable organisation like Gravity, make sure bikes are well maintained... More

Room small but clean. Hotel located close to restaurants and in a main tourist shopping street close to the Witches Market. A basic breakfast is included and one can pay extra if you want hot food. We found the included breakfast adequate. The Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Happy to book a taxi and assist with luggage. We stored... More

I think this place is getting a raw deal by large tour groups who have been given over the top expectations of their lodgings and are writing unjust angry reviews. This hotel is what it is…..a mid range, mid price hotel, centrally located, very well run with well mannered and happy staff. The accommodation is small but comfortable, gives a... More

We stayed here as part of a group tour. I think it is fair to say that the whole group was very disappointed in the standard of the rooms, particularly the showers, carpets, towels and lack of wifi. The location was central though. Very worried that it is rated 25th in la paz. I dread to think what the other... More

Horrible accomodation. Tiny crammped rooms. Stains on quilts, bed sheets and pillows. Towels smelt very poor. Dim lighting. Electrical wires running everywhere, including shower head. Limited wifi only available in reception. Breakfast could hardly be called breakfast. Staff speak little english Only good thing was pretty handy location. I would never go back and do not recommend. Stayed there with... More
