Wild Rover In La Paz was everything I expected it to be and more, It had atmosphere, fun, laughs & I met some amazing people who will be life long friends. I came as a solo traveller and you just meet so many cool people and it really goes off at night @ the Wild Rover. They also take you... More

Wild Rovers is admittedly a fun party hostel, with fairly cheap drinks and fun drink specials. They also served decent food (the BBQ special on Wednesday night was awesome), but all ordered food took around 30-45 minutes to arrive, even for food that should have been fast like an omelette. The free breakfast was underwhelming consisting of stale bread, jam,... More

This hostel was average compared to Cusco. The bar was more chilled than cusco. Aka more boring. Wild rover cusco seems more friendly and inviting than this hostel. Bar staff wasn't as fun. Was given a two person room for 3 of us and had to sleep on the floor. Freezing cold showers and no ping pong table ha!

Stayed at the Rover for a week and had a great time! Definitely a party hostel! We stayed in a 8 bed dorm at the back of the complex so we weren't disturbed at all by the noise but you can see that it would affect some people's rooms. Great bar with a great atmosphere and cheap food and booze.... More

Not the best wild rover. Decent tv room and decent beds. Bar was poor compared to Cusco. Constant smell of building works was a dissapointment and too much cock at the bar. Staff were friendly enough tho.

I appreciated how well organized everything was. The bar closed at 1:30 am - so unless you have one of the dorms in the backyards, you won't sleep before 2 am - unless you're one of those giftet people who can sleep always and everywhere. Generally, the place was amazingly clean and staff friendly and competent. Price was okay too,... More

Wild Rover lives up to its reputation as a party hostel. Don't stay here unless you plan on getting onboard the party train and can handle being interrupted by fellow revellers in the middle of the night. Don't forget your earplugs... The bar is rammed every night, food is good but a little overpriced, beds are big and comfy. Movie... More

Great party hostel, if your young go for it, even at my age (50) I had an enjoyable time. only down side being outsiders being able to walk thru hostel, lacking in security. Otherwise a clean friendly place, location wise not bad, walking distance to most needs and other hostels where friends may be staying.

Stayed here for 5 night and it was about 3 nights too many. Staff are good, food is fine but no kitchen so you need to order everything from the bar. Beds were comfy but our room was a dungeon, totally dark with really poor lighting and very smelly. Only places to chill out was the bar which is no... More
