Quite easy: do you wanna party? If yes: go here. If you need a rest: avoid. It's like walking into a 24 hr British pub with drunk young 20-ers. Might be your thing, or it might not. The private room was great, the dorms looked great and the bathrooms were very, very clean (despite some previous reviews). The bar and... More

The dorms have incredibly comfortable mattresses. After months of budget hostels, the bed I slept in felt remarkably nicer. I slept very well. Despite the party atmosphere, the music from the bar was almost inaudible from the room. I was honestly impressed by the rooms cleanliness. The patios are spacious and have nice views of La Paz. I made quite... More

We had stayed at the Wild Rover in Arequipa and although the essentials were fine we weren't that keen on the place. After having stayed in a number of questionable hostels just before La Paz when we arrived we picked Wild Rover as we just wanted a hostel where 'they get it' and were pleasantly surprised! We'd asked for a... More

Great hostel for 20 something's. The staff are sound, the food is ok and cheap. Wouldn't go back with the girlfriend though. The double rooms are not great, stay away from room 103, very dark and a bit depressing. If your looking for a party your in the right spot.

Myself and 3 friends planned on staying 5 days and ended up staying 2 weeks, it was so much fun. The hostel was spotless and the food was delicious. The atmosphete was so friendly and the reception was very informative. It was in a great location too. A big shout out to the awesome bar staff! Definitely recommend it.

I usually stay away from party hostels as I'm a light sleeper but this place was ok. Security at the front door, only came across one unfriendly receptionist. A tour agency on site which we didn't use. Luggage storage, quick laundry service, wifi worked most of the time. Bar/ restaurant on site. 2 happy hours a night- one for beer... More

It's a fun party hostel but unfortunately party is all they can do. And too be honest.. The parties werent even that great. They lose your stuff in laundry constantly and make sure they are not responsible. Looking for a new contract with another laundry service for better service is not an option because they hate spending money but love... More

It's loud, it's dirty and yet it's so expensive! The bar staff are so nice yet the front desk staff are painfully rude to the point it's shocking. Much nicer places in the area. Most of the people we met moved as they couldn't hack it anymore. Most people are so drunk that staying in a dorm is unbearable -... More

Being a solo traveller and wanting to find a party hostel this was definately the right place. Within about 5 minutes if you make the effort you are talking to about 5 people at the bar. Staff are usually travellers so are in the same boat as you. Super clean bathrooms was really surprised at how clean they were. Staff... More

the hostel is quite great, it's clean and pretty cheap. we took part in the barbecue offered, it was pretty expensive (like in every hostel) but the food was great and the portion really big. the only down side for me is that the staff at the bar doesn't speak spanish AT ALL, so if you are looking for the...
