After a very long day traveling from Puno, Peru to La Paz, we arrived at this hotel. The room was very quaint and charming, but we were quickly overtaken by the cigarette smoke infiltrating from the enclosed courtyard below. It was one smoker, but the smoke wafted throughout the entire facility. In addition, the businesses and customers situated within the... more

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even wrote the destinations we were going to visit in english The rooms are clean and we were given a selection of pillows to choose from. Breakfast selection is good with many items to choose from. more

Perfect location, especially if arriving on bus from Copacabana. Right in the heart of the tourist area, but the hotel itself was clean and quiet. Free internet and very good breakfast. Rooms were fine and hot water was appreciated (not always a given in Bolivia). Very secure and close to restaurants and shops. more

An absolute haven from the bustle of La Paz. Our double room and private bathroom was spotless, spacious and safe. The room got a bit cold at night time, but we had plenty of blankets on the bed and were comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of hot and reliable water with great pressure and came with fluffy towels, soaps and... more

We had stayed in another two hotels in La Paz, including one for 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel as good value for money. The creeky wooden floors wont hide dust and dirt that we found in other hotels. The Staff are trustworthy and attentive with good security in place in the hotel and the area. The Hotel... more

Wonderful staff, great location, lots of hot water. I did have concerns about the noiswe level: the interior courtyard creates echoes. Every footstep on the stairs can be heard. My first time here, I had a room on the street that was noisy at times, with drunk tourists shouting in the street on a Saturday night. The nice staff and... more

Good location, hot showers. We stayed in two different rooms, the first was without windows and very basic. The second was at the front of the hotel and much more charming, with a lovely little balcony looking over the witches market. Staff were laid-back and nice, building very charming and the pizzeria downstairs the best in La Paz. more

We stayed 3 different times at this hotel while we were in Bolivia. The location is excellent in the heart of shopping and many of the tour companies. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. They had the best breakfast of any hotel we stayed at during a month in South America. Fresh juices and fruit, a variety... more

Great location amongst all the tourist shops and bars in central La Paz. Rooms not too noisy despite being in an internal courtyard (ask for a room with a street view though if you want an external window). Cable tv, free wifi and 2 PCs for you to use, ok breakfast, rooms clean and hot water available almost all the... more

First of all, the location alone could sell this place. It is right in the heart of the center of La Paz on the most popular tourist district. A great walking area with lots and lots to see. On the plus side, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the water was really hot with good pressure. The... more
