This is a budget hotel in an expensive city. I was there during May 2006 (the off season) and it was one of the few hotels open. I had room 131, which was a single. The room was fairly small, had a foam rubber mattress, air conditioning and ceiling fan, mini fridge, continental breakfast until 1030 a.m., cable TV, and roll-down blackout shutters. The room was very quiet with no street noise. I only paid $25 a night, but during high season, the same room goes for $50. At the higher price, I would certainly check out other hotels before staying here again. The service was first rate; all employees I came in contact with were very helpful and nice. I would have given a higher rating if there had been a better mattress, and if the room and bathroom had been bigger.
