What a great 4 days we spent here. We were upgraded to a wonderful suite, large and beautifully decorated, big bathroom with plenty of hot water, great airconditioner, large patio overlooking the ocean (across the street, which really doesn't have much traffic), delicious breakfasts every morning, they even packed a sandwich for the beach. La Bluette is a little haven of Paradise. The rooms are all uniquely designed with beautiful interiors and incredibly spacious too. The bathrooms are amazing - big showers & superbly clean. We stayed at this hotel which was advertised as a 4 star. It is actually a private home that was remodelled to include 12 hotel rooms. There is no TV in the room, no towel bars, no telephone and no room service. The grounds need upkeep and they appeared a bit rundown, the lawn was not mowed and the bushes... more

It has taken me a while to write this review because I sit in bewilderment at the raves bestowed upon this "hotel". I put "hotel" in quotes, because it is NOT a hotel.
